Holiday Gift Guide for Kids Ages 4-12

This gift guide is for the kiddos who are ages 4-12… both of our kiddos fall into this age range, and I feel like both of them are currently caught between the toys and crafts stage of life and the older kids stage of life.  This gift guide is heavy on the toys and crafts, but if your kiddos are starting to lean more towards the tween and teen things, stay tuned, because I’ll have that gift guide up later this week!

1 – Karaoke Microphone

This karaoke microphone is wireless with built-in Bluetooth, and it’s easy to pair with any smartphone or tablet, allowing kids to sing along to music from any streaming apps – Apple Music, Spotify, etc.  Olivia has this microphone, and it has been a hit in our house for years.  It’s highly rated at 4.3 / 5 stars with nearly 18K reviews.

2 – Bump N’ Bounce Body Bumpers

These body bumpers allow kids to bump against each other safely, for hours of fun.  These are easily inflated and deflated for easy storage… another highly rated option with 4.2 / 5 stars and nearly 10K reviews.

3 – Storage Bean Bag Chair

These giant bean bags arrive at your home empty, and then you fill them with your kids’ stuffed animals, dress-up clothes, extra blankets/sheets, etc. to turn them into bean bag chairs that your kids can use.  Both of our kids have MASSIVE stuffed animal collections (and Olivia also has a massive blanket collection) – and despite the fact that they’re getting older, they both continue to add to their collections.  They both LOVE their stuffed animals, and they use them all the time, so I don’t see us getting rid of any of them any time soon, and therefore, we purchased two of these for Christmas gifts this year.  These bean bags are not only going to be fun gifts for Christmas, but they are going to solve a major problem in our household, and for that, I’m thrilled.  These are highly rated at 4.8 / 5 stars with 11K+ reviews so I’m hoping they’re as good as everyone says.  They’re currently on sale for 25% off, and there’s also a 5% off coupon that you can clip to save additional money.

4 – Airplane Launcher

This airplane launcher is similar to a Nerf gun, but for airplanes.  Load the plane, pull the trigger, and the planes will fly up to 49 feet!  Planes are made from safe, bendable, foam so they are safe for small kids, and they are lined with LED lights so kids can enjoy playing with them outside at night.

5 – Rainbow Hair Extensions

The rainbow hair trend is so much fun, and this would make a great stocking stuffer.  The pack contains an array of colors, and they are easy to clip in anywhere.  Each extension is SUPER long, so it can go in the longest of hair, and then you just cut the ends off to match the length of your child’s hair.

6 – Bounce House

I can’t think of anything more fun than having your own bounce house at home!  This one is surrounded on three sides by mesh safety netting, and the open side is one wide slide for easy exit.  Set-up and take-down is easily done in under three minutes and the blower is included along with a 25-foot power cord.  This bounce house is highly rated at 4.7 / 5 stars with over 3K reviews, and it’s currently 21% off with an additional $13 off coupon that you can clip.

7 – Edible Candy Making Kit

This candy making kit combines fun and learning, allowing your child to create their own candy creations.  It contains everything your child needs to make various jelly candies, rock candies, chocolates, and lollipops, and it’s yet another highly rated product.  It’s currently 38% off with another coupon you can clip for an additional 15% off.

8 – Fort Building Kit

This fort building kit contains everything your child needs to build epic forts in various shapes and sizes, and the connecting rods glow in the dark for added fun.

9 – Marble Run Set

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if your kids don’t have a marble run set, they’re missing out!  Our kids have had this set for years and it’s something that they still pull out and play with.  It keeps them busy for hours.

10 – Voice Changer

This is another item that our kids have had for years, and they still use it to this day.  This voice changer features 10 different voice modifiers with side levers that adjust frequency and amplitude, creating hundreds of different sound combinations.

11 – LED Gloves

These gloves contain LED lights that have six different modes.  This would be such a fun gift for any kid to play with outside at night, and they would make a perfect stocking stuffer.

12 – LEGO Gadgets Set

You can never go wrong with LEGO, and we love this non-traditional take on this classic toy.  With this set, you can build 11 different machines ranging from practical to silly, and it makes a great STEM gift that will encourage your child to get creative.

13 – Walkie Talkies

These walkie talkies are sturdy and easy to carry, and what kid would not love a walkie talkie?!  They’re highly rated at 4.4 / 5 stars with over 32K reviews.

14 – Mad Libs

Mad Libs is a classic, and this super-sized edition is fun for the whole family.  Our kids have loved Mad Libs for years, and they haul around their Mad Libs books everywhere in case boredom strikes.  It's perfect to bring on the go, and it’s a great option to bring on car rides and flights.

15 – Puffy Sticker Making Set

This set contains everything your child needs to design their own puffy stickers.  Olivia had this set a few years ago and she made every single sticker in the bunch!  It’s easy to use, they’re a lot of fun to make, and then you can use and enjoy your creations afterwards.

16 – Drone

This drone is simple and easy to use, even for little hands, and it lights up!  It’s highly rated at 4.3 / 5 stars with nearly 5K reviews, and it’s currently on sale for 20% off + there’s an additional 15% off coupon that you can clip.
