Valentine’s Day Home Tour 2019

Happy Thursday, y’all!  I’m popping in today to share a few Valentine’s Day touches around our house.  I don’t go all out for Valentine’s Day, but since it is the only holiday that makes it acceptable to decorate with pink, then I can’t not decorate for it, right?  ;o)

I bought this pom pom garland from the Target Dollar Spot a few years ago and it is still one of my most favorite purchases!  One simple strand of this on the mantle goes a long way!  I kind of want to leave it up all year-round!  And, of course, all of our favorite books about love and Valentine's Day are in the seasonal book crate!

Moving on into the kitchen, my two-tiered tray is something that I always decorate for the holidays, so I added a few little pink and white touches to it.

The bar cart is always my favorite thing to dress up for the holidays, but I kept it a little lighter this year, just adding a few pink and white straws, some festive cocktail napkins, and a little pitcher that is also from the Target Dollar Spot from a few years ago.  Add a fun little chalkboard design and something lovey dovey to the letter board, and that area is done!

This little tray that I added to the kitchen counter last year has also been my new go-to to decorate for the holidays.  This cute little pink ampersand was the perfect pop that I needed to make it festive!

And finally, my coffee bar… all of the love mugs came out for the holiday!

And that’s it, y’all!  Just a few little touches here and there go a long way!

Happy Thursday, y’all!

  6. I seriously started on my tiered tray like Jan 15th...and never got it completed. lol...Riley has my house pretty much in a complete wreck! He leaves tomorrow for spring training and I can hardly wait to spend my weekend trying to get things pulled back together over here. Your bar cart is always my fave!

  8. I need to do a coffee bar like yours. But I did do the seasonal book crate, which E loves and a few mantle décor items. You have so inspired me over the years.
