Five on Friday - The Perfect Wedge Sandals, Basic Tanks and Tees, and the Most Beautiful Cross Necklace

Happy Friday, y’all!  It seems like forever since I’ve done a regular favorites Friday post, so I have lots of goodies for you today!  As a matter of fact, it was really hard narrowing it down to just five things, so I’ll have more for you next week, too!

O N E – Wedge Sandals

I bought these wedge sandals at the end of the summer last year and never got to wear them, so I’m soooo excited that warm weather is almost here so I can bust them out!!  After getting my vertigo last July, I wasn’t able to wear heels for months (and still can’t some days depending on the day), and because of that, there were several pairs of jeans and pants that I couldn’t wear anymore since they have long hems that require extra height.

I bought these because they add a couple of inches, but they’re flat, so I don’t have to worry about falling on my face if my dizziness and boat-rocking is acting up, so I’m excited to get back to wearing my Spanx jeans again now that I have these!  They are so cute, they come in tons of different colors, they’re really comfortable, they fit true-to-size, and they’re super affordable.  I think they’re going to be my new favorite shoes for spring and summer!

T W O – Basic Tanks are BACK and Better Than Ever

Last year, I declared my summer uniform to be these tanks and these shorts, and I’m happy to report that the tanks are back again for this summer, and they come in a brand-new array of colors… even better than last year’s!  This line includes baby pink, lavender, and several other pastels, and you better believe I already loaded up.  They’re ridiculously cheap, they’re high-quality, and they hold up beautifully in the washer and dryer over time.  I have every single color of the rainbow.  And then some.  Ha!

T H R E E – Basic Tees

This year, Target also has some basic tees that are pretty much the t-shirt equivalent of the tanks I love so much.  Unlike the tanks, the tees are ribbed, but it’s a very fine ribbing, so the tops are super soft, and I love them soooo much.  They come in loads of colors, and they fit true-to-size.  I purchased XS because I like a slimmer fit, but if you want a more relaxed fit, order your true size or you could even size up one size.  These are only $8 and they make great layering pieces!  I have these on my birthday wish list!

F O U R – Cross Necklace

Brian and I have been watching The Bachelor, and one of the finalists, Daisy, has been wearing the most beautiful cross necklace all season long.  It’s super delicate, it’s gold, it’s on a long chain, and I have been obsessed with it.  I googled it to find out where hers is from, but the only information I could find was that her parents bought it for her in Germany while she was doing her treatments for an illness that she went through a couple of years ago.

That obviously wasn’t helpful since I’m not planning on visiting Germany any time soon.  Haha.  So, I set out to find a delicate gold cross necklace that was similar to hers, and while you would think it wouldn’t be that hard to find, it actually was.  Most of the crosses I came across were either too large, they were on a thicker chain, or they were too intricate.

I finally found this one on Etsy, and y’all, it is PERFECT.  You can customize the length of the chain to your liking, and it is the most delicate, beautiful thing!  It’s also super affordable, and I was able to get it during a sale that they were offering.  If you’re looking for the perfect Easter basket stuffer, this is it!  Shipping was super fast, too, and the seller was so kind and responded quickly when I asked her a question.  It was also packaged to perfection, and the seller included the sweetest note, so if you order one, it comes wrapped and ready to gift.  I’ve been wearing this nonstop since I got it and I just love it so much.

F I V E – Meyer Lemon Rolled Wafers

Is anyone else completely and utterly obsessed with the Target Favorite Day rolled wafers like I am?!  At Christmastime, they always have the Nutella ones, at Easter they always have the Meyer Lemon, and in the summer they always have strawberry.  The Meyer Lemon are my favorites (and Jacob’s, too), and they’re currently back, people!!  Load up while you can, because they’ll be gone after Easter!

Not me still struggling from the time change last week

This is exactly how I felt all week long.  Hahahaha.  Spring Break is calling my name!
