What I Wore - October 2026

Hey, y’all!  It’s another what I wore post, and I’m so excited because I’ve finally been able to start wearing some clothes for chillier weather!  I also decided this past month that I needed to get out of my rut of tanks and shorts and leggings and sweatshirts, so I’m going to try to step it up over here for these posts going forward.  I’ve gotten way too comfortable wearing the same simple things repeatedly and I’ve also gotten lazy about accessorizing, and I miss putting more effort into getting dressed every day!

There are so many days that I stay home or in the car all day and don’t get out to see anyone, so over the years since leaving my corporate job, I feel like I’ve gotten way less creative with my attire, and I’m hoping to start having more fun with fashion going forward.  Fashion is truly one of my favorite things, and I figured that I always dress for myself anyway, so why can’t I wear cute stuff while I’m home all day even if nobody is going to see me except Brian and the kids?

Anyway, I started accessorizing more this past month – changing out earrings (even though you can’t see them in the photos) and adding necklaces more often – and it’s been so fun to get back at it again.  I can’t wait to come up with more fun combos going forward!

  2. I can so relate, I'm usually in my comfy clothes as I call them (not pajamas, but a mix of leggings/yoga pants/t-shirts/tank tops with cardigans) and I end up saving my dressier clothes for when I'm going to be out and about. I always love seeing what you wear, and all of these outfits are so pretty! I love that plaid set with the leggings and sports bra!

Hope you're having an amazing week so far, Lindsay!!

  3. Love the accessorizing. There's something about fall that makes me want to change up my fashion! But I rarely ever see people so it doesn't matter much.

    1. Yes, those are exactly my thoughts. I always feel so inspired in the fall. Hopefully I'll still feel inspired to continue wearing cute stuff when it's cold and dreary and January. Haha.

  4. I love that some of the more "comfier" clothes are looking more cute now, like sweat suit sets and things like that!

    1. I do, too! Ten years ago I barely even owned any leggings / sweats because they all looked frumpy, so I'm glad they've improved in recent years.
