Hey, y’all!  Happy Friday!  Today, as always, I’m sharing some favorites from the week!  Let’s get started.

O N E – Ghost Throw Pillows

Earlier this week, I made a Target run, and I swore to myself I wasn’t going to buy anything other than what we needed, but that all went out the window when I saw these darling ghost throw pillows!  Y’all, these are in the Dollar Spot, and they are only $5!!  I couldn’t not get them for that price!  I knew I would have kicked myself if I hadn’t grabbed them, and then I would have ended up going back for them, I’m sure.

They are excellent quality for the price, and I love the simplicity of them.  Pottery Barn currently has two different types of ghost pillows (you can see them here and here), and they are $40 and $85 apiece, so this Target version is such a steal!  I actually think the Target pillows are cuter, too.

Unfortunately, I can’t link these since they’re in the Dollar Spot (they don’t put Dollar Spot items online), but I wanted to let all of you know about them so you can grab them at your local Target before they’re gone!

T W O – Daily Devotional

I started this Joyce Meyer devotional at the beginning of 2023, and I thought I would just give a little update since we’re more than halfway through the year.  Y’all, I have been enjoying this devotional so much!  I love how the author talks to you like you’re having a casual conversation and I love the personal information she includes in some of the entries because it adds real-life perspective.  She also provides many great nuggets of wisdom and advice throughout the whole book, so I’m constantly highlighting as I read.  If you’re looking for a new devotional to start in 2024, I highly recommend this one.

T H R E E – Fall Transition Tops

I professed my true love for these tops last winter when we were transitioning to spring, and now I’m excited to start wearing them again to make the transition to fall!  This is one of my all-time favorite tops that I’ve ever purchased from Amazon, and I own it in about four or five different colors because I loaded up on them when they were on a lightning deal.  They’re so flattering, they’re comfortable, and the lace sleeves aren’t itchy at all.  They are perfect for those days when you want to wear long sleeves, but it’s still a little too hot.  They’ve held up beautifully in the washing machine, and I can’t recommend them enough.  They look fabulous with jeans, dress pants, skirts, you name it.  It’s such a fun way to elevate your look… the sleeves are spectacular!  Side note, this is an old picture from December... I am not wearing them yet because it's 84,000 degrees outside.  Haha.

F O U R – Basic Tanks

When I was on my hunt for new PJs, I came across these basic cropped tanks at Target, and my oh my, are these wonderful!  They are excellent quality, thick, stretchy, comfortable, super soft, and just so good, y’all.  They are perfect for wearing with high-waisted pants, shorts, and skirts.  And they’re only $10.  I actually love these even more than the ones I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, because you can wear these with a regular bra!  No strapless bra required.  If you liked the ones I mentioned a few weeks ago, they actually just restocked them in a bunch of new colors... all perfect for fall!

F I V E – Old Photographs

My dad has been going through lots of old things since he retired a few years ago, and every now and then he’ll send me some old photographs.  This past week, he came across these, and that’s tiny little me!  The photographs were taken on my great grandmother’s farm in Florida circa 1984 and I love them so much.  The first picture is me with my great grandmother, the second is me with my great aunt, and the third is me riding a calf with my second cousin.  Hehe.

My great grandmother was a gentle soul, she played the piano beautifully, and she made the best homemade biscuits.  She passed away when I was 10, but I do have many memories of her.  The memories are just little snippets of things, and some of them are a little hazy, but I am so grateful to have them.  And I’m even more grateful for these pictures.
