Panama City Beach Trip 2017 by the Numbers

Another beach trip is in the books, and since I’m still not done wading through our tons of pictures, I thought that a recap by the numbers might be a little fun…

7 – days we were gone

5 – times we were asked if Jacob and Olivia were twins

1 – beach toy lost

1,464 – pictures taken

45 – Insta-stories posted

586ish – miles driven

10 – adult beverages consumed by the beach

4 – souvenir cups taken home from said adult beverages

2,774 – tickets won at Dave and Busters

12 – donuts eaten

4 – laps driven around the go-kart track

2 – laps that were forfeited at the go-kart track

24 – ice creams consumed for dessert (YIKES!  Haha.  We had it every night but one, and then one day after lunch.)

85 – dollars spent at the carnival (Highway robbery, y’all!)

35 – carnival rides ridden

1 billion – times Olivia whined on the drive back home

And…

1 – container of marijuana found under our beach chair

Do stick around for that story in the recaps!  ;o)

And now it's time for the Tuesday Talk Link Up!

  4. Well, way to leave us hanging. Looking forward to that story. Sounds like a great week. Whining always happens on the way home. Ugh! I think it's their way of getting up back to reality. Ha ah!

  5. Gotta love the ice cream every day. On one vacation we had ice cream three times, in three different states (while traveling), ha. Never too much ice cream. Glad it was a blast, and can't wait to hear more.

  10. I cannot even fathom how many pictures you must have took! (edit – I just saw in your numbers post, lol) I know that we are a lot alike when it comes to picture taking! Do you ever find it so overwhelming that you tend to keep putting it off? I sure do! But, alas, I can’t wait to see every single picture you post and live vicariously through this trip. I love that you did a post by numbers. I did that with our last vacation and it was fun to look back on! Can’t wait to hear the rest of the marijuana story! haha

And I can totally see how people would ask you about Jacob & Olivia being twins - people ask me all the time about Ella & Avery and I'm always like, umm I don't see it! Holy tickets won!! I can't wait to see more awesome pics and read about your vaca!!

  18. I am with Lizzie, only 1 beach toy is impressive. I can see how people might think they are twins and I love that you said you have a line prepared! Carnival prices are crazy - agreed! Sipping an adult beverage by the beach sounds lovely and the last one had me gasp out loud - can't wait to hear the full story! xoxo ERIN

    1. Lol yeah, kind of ridiculous, I know! A bunch of them are pretty much duplicates from us just snap snap snapping with the hopes of getting one good picture of the kids. Haha. I was able to delete a few hundred when we got home!
