Halloween Home Tour

For the last couple of years, I’ve put up our Halloween decorations in September with the rest of our fall décor, but this year, I decided to wait and add them later so we could just enjoy fall for a while.

I added the Halloween touches last week, and I love the way it turned out!  I don’t go all out for Halloween, so it’s only just a few things here and there, but I couldn’t let it go undocumented here on the blog.

Ready to see?

For the porch, I recently added my fall wreath and doormat, and then I found some super inexpensive heirloom pumpkins at Publix that I added later.  Unfortunately, the heirloom pumpkin colors don't really go with my wreath and doormat, but I'm just rolling with it.  And my ferns died super early this year because of neglect, so I don't have any greenery... and I didn't get mums this year either.  Aaaand I need to pressure wash the porch... it looks awful.  Sheesh!  The porch is def not impressive, but I'm just keeping it real.  Next year I need to step it up!

Anyway, for the mantle, everything was already there, but I added some cobwebs to the mirror (my first time ever decorating with cobwebs!), I put some bats up over the mantle (the kids’ favorite part), and I added my beloved porcelain ghosts to the mantle along with two spooky trees.

I had one spooky tree leftover, so I added it to my oils tray on the kitchen island to add a little touch of Halloween in there.

And I also pulled out my Halloween mugs to add to the coffee and tea bar!

And that’s it!  Not a ton of stuff, but the few things I did put out really pack a punch!  As always, I’ll link as many items as I can below.
