Five On Friday - Randoms

Hello lovelies and yay for Friday!  Brian is still struggling with his upper respiratory infection (he was finally diagnosed on Wednesday), but it’s been six freaking days, so I would think that he should be well for the weekend.  Please!!!!

And speaking of Brian, I have to wish him a very Happy 3/11 Day today!  311 is one of his favorite bands so March 11 is always a thrill.  Haha.

O N E – I Was Featured

My sweet friend Annie at Simply Annie featured me on her blog a couple of weeks ago.  You can see her post here.  Annie is a new blogger like me and she is taking it on like a complete pro!  She’s a wife and a mommy to a sweet baby girl, and she blogs about motherhood, yoga, and a bunch of other fun things at SimplyAnnie.com.  I’m so thankful that she and I found each other.  Thank you again, Annie, for the sweet write-up.

T W O – Friends Reunion

Was anyone else as excited as I was to watch the Friends reunion on NBC a couple of weeks ago?!  I know I’m a little late on this, but Brian and I finally had the time to watch it this week.  I think I was smiling ear to ear the entire time.  I was sad that Matthew Perry couldn’t be there, but at least he was able to introduce the rest of the gang via video.  The whole cast still looks damn good, and after watching this I’m seriously dying for a reunion show.  Although, now every time I see David Schwimmer I’m going to hear him talking about “The Juice.”  Anybody else still watching The People vs. O.J. Simpson?  I’m so addicted.

T H R E E – Dinners on the Back Porch

The weather this week has been <insert heart eyes emoji, praise hands emoji, clapping hands emoji, sunshine emoji, etc.>.  Seriously, we are talking highs in the upper seventies, lows in the fifties, sunshine, low humidity, crystal blue skies, and a slight breeze.   Since B and I both work full time we haven’t been able to take advantage of it during the day, but we have eaten dinner on the back porch every single evening this week.  The combination of the perfect weather with the twinkle lights, wine, and Ray Lamontagne playing softly in the background has been exactly what I’ve needed in the evening.  Never mind that Brian has been wearing a hoodie to keep warm from his feverish chills and the two kids have been acting crazy and trying to ruin my vibe… <insert eye roll emoji here>  But seriously, tantrums and sickness aside, the evenings have been fantastic this week!

F O U R – Olivia’s Tubes Update

We went for Olivia’s follow-up appointment from her tubes surgery on Wednesday, and the nurse said that everything looks beautiful – tubes are in place and looking perfect, everything has healed, she doesn’t have any drainage hanging out in her ears, and her ears weren’t even infected after all of this croup/congestion/fever/crap she’s had this last week.  Like a boss.

F I V E – More Ball Pics

And finally, just for fun, the photographer who shot the ball that we went to at the end of January posted some more candid shots recently, so I thought I would share them here.  Such a fun evening!

    1. The reunion was on some sort of NBC special to honor the director of the show, so it was two hours, but the Friends segment was only about ten minutes. It was still exciting, though! I hope you guys get some warm weather soon! Happy weekend!

  12. Haha, I used to really love 311. Still listen to them occasionally. I watched the Friends Reunion and loved it. I want a reunion movie, show or netflix update. Please oh please. I still watch reruns daily. So glad Olivia's ears are healing well. And 70s for weather, so jealous. I would love to have backyard dinners!!! Have a great weekend.

  13. I absolutely loved the Friends Reunion, but wanted a whole hour just devoted to their cast!! I would love a "real" reunion...in fact, I did s whole post about what I thought the characters would be doing now. I agree, though, Ross is killing it (no pun intended) as Robert Kardashian on OJ! I am hooked on that show!!
