Five on Friday - This is My Grown-Up Christmas List for 2019

Now that all of my gift guides for 2019 are out of the way, I thought I’d share a few things that are on my wish list!

O N E – Home

Desk Chair – I only need three more things for my home office and it’ll be complete!  EEK!  I’ve been looking for a neutral chair with armrests that won’t break the bank, and this Amazon Basics chair fits the bill.  It has great reviews, too!

Keyboard Tray – I bought a new desk earlier this year, but when I’m sitting, I’ve found that the keyboard sits too high on the desk (and also takes up too much room on my desk) so this undermount keyboard tray will solve two problems – it will free up my desktop and it will allow the keyboard to rest at a more comfortable level for my arms.  This one seems to be the only one that will fit on my desk and it has excellent reviews.

T W O – Clothes
Puffer Jacket (Size - Small, Color - Creme) – I’m in desperate need of a warm winter jacket as I don’t have one at all, so this is near the top of my wish list for the year.  My requirements are that it needs to be a puffer jacket that is long enough to cover my butt, it needs to be white, and it has to have a hood.  Check, check, and CHECK!  This one is a #1 best seller and with 2,374 reviews and 4 stars you can't go wrong!

Ruffle Shift Dress (Size - Small, Color - Purple) – I have this dress in olive green with dots and I love it so much that I want it in purple, too.  I don’t have much purple and I just love this shade!

Babydoll Swing Dress (Size - Small, Color - Leopard) – How cute is this dress?!  It’s perfect for the transition to fall and winter when it’s still hot outside here.  Transitional pieces like this one are so important here in the south.

Loft Flecked TurtleneckPoncho Sweater (Size - Small, Color - Snow Speckle) – I’ve seen this sweater all around blogland and it looks fantastic on everyone.  I don’t have a poncho sweater and I’ve been wanting one, and this one is just gorgeous.

PeplumTop (Size - Small, Color - White with Black Stripes) – Peplum tops are always some of my favorite to wear during the winter because they’re super easy to throw on, but they make you look incredibly feminine and put together.  And I’ve never met a white top with black stripes that I didn’t like.  ;o)

Waffle Knit Top (Size - Medium, Color - Black) – I don’t have many black tops that I can just relax in and I love this Amazon dupe for the Free People top from the NSale this past fall.

Graphic Tee (Size - Small??, Color - Dark Grey) – Y’all know how much I love a good graphic tee and if this one doesn’t just scream Lindsay then I don’t know what does!  I couldn’t love the rainbow lettering more and I also feel like this will be perfect to go along with my word for 2020.  Not sure about the sizing for this one, though... could go with a small or medium...

Black Bralette (Size - Medium, Color - Black) – This is a major need for me right now to wear under lots of different tops, especially during the summer.

White Bralette (Size - Medium, Color - White) – I need a white one, too!  It’s been on my list forever.  I have a feeling I’ll be reaching for the white one a lot more often, so I’d like one that’s good quality so it’ll last.

T H R E E – Accessories

Gold Necklaces – I feel like I wear the same long gold necklace over and over again and I’d like to have some variety.  I love this set from Amazon because it doesn’t break the bank.

Black Necklace – I have zero long black necklaces and I’m constantly finding myself wishing for one, especially this time of year when I’m wearing lots of Georgia red and black.  This is high on my wish list for the year.

Choose Joy Bracelet – I feel like I struggle to choose joy when I’m in situations that make me frustrated or anxious and I want to start wearing a reminder on my wrist every day.  May seem silly to some of you, but I really think it’ll be nice to have the constant reminder.  There are also a couple of other phrases I'd like.

Leopard Key Ring – These are the best key rings of all time since you can wear them on your wrist to keep your hands free, and I want this leopard one for fall and winter.  My light pink sparkly one is more appropriate for spring and summer.

F O U R – Books

When Less Becomes More – I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited for a book!  I just adore Emily Ley and everything she stands for and I’ve been waiting for this book for months.  I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about it!  Yet another thing that’s going to accommodate me in 2020.

New York in Color – I’ve been slowly making changes to the décor in our living room all year and I just need one more book for my book stack on our DVD dresser.  This is the one!

Friends Forever: The One About the Episodes – It’s no secret that I’m a Friends fanatic so I need this book to add to my collection!

Holiday Cookies – I’ve had this book in my wish list for a couple of years as I’d like to include it in my holiday home décor.

F I V E – Gift Cards

AMAZON!!!!  And that’s pretty much it.  Because that’s pretty much where everything is from.  Hahahaha.

Other wants that I can’t find online – a bread basket, a fiddle leaf fig for our dining room, nude heels, long work-out tanks, a long Georgia work-out tank, and a throw pillow for my office chair.

Now for the Friday funnies… y'all, this cat meme has had me in stitches for two weeks straight.  I have literally seen a hundred of these and I laugh so hard every single time I see a new one.  I am obsessed.

I cannot stop laughing!!

And ICYMI, this week’s blog posts…

Happy Friday, y’all!

Holiday Gift Guide 2019 - For the Guys

*This post contains affiliate links.  As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

I don’t know about y’all, but the guys in my life are so hard to buy for.  Brian, my dad, my father-in-law… all of them are just impossible because they really don’t have long wish lists.  If you’re in the same boat, here are some ideas that have been winners in our house!

1 // Yeti Tumbler – Yep, here it is again!  I mean, everybody drinks water or some other beverage during the day.  Might as well have something nice to carry it in that actually keeps it cold!

2 // Slim Front Pocket Wallet with RFID Blocking – This wallet is perfect for the minimalist in your life.  It holds 1-12 cards + cash without all of the bulk of a regular wallet.  The best part is that it includes RFID blocking technology that protects your cards from chip readers.

3 // KeySmart Compact Key Holder – This key holder organizes 8-14 keys like a pocket knife.  Keys stay nice and compact and won’t jingle around in your pocket.  No more key pokes in the leg, and no more struggling to get them in and out of your pocket.  Brian has one of these and he loves it.  It comes in several different colors, too.

4 // Cozy Slippers – With 4.5 stars and 2,138 reviews, you can’t go wrong with these snuggly slippers!

5 // Mini Beer Pong – This game is perfect for a home bar or deck, and it’s compact enough to take tailgating… perfect for the beer drinker who’s still a college student at heart.  ;o)

6 // Stainless Steel Beer Bottle and Can Cooler – This cooler is vacuum insulated double walled stainless steel so it guarantees a cold drink for hours.  It holds any beer can or bottle and it comes in lots of colors!

7 // Copper Mugs – This set of four copper mugs is made from 100% solid copper and is perfect for anyone with a home bar.  B and I have had ours for years now and they get lots of use!  And if you’re looking for the perfect Moscow Mule recipe and the perfect gift basket in which to include these mugs, check out this post!

8 // Apple Watch – An Apple watch is the perfect accessory for the health conscious guy.  This watch tracks steps, mileage, and calories burned and it also includes heart sensors that can notify you for low and high heart rate and irregular rhythms.  It also has fall detection and emergency SOS and has a built-in GPS.  You can also take phone calls, check text messages, and use Siri right there on your wrist.  Since the Apple Watch 5 is out, the 4 is on sale right now!

9 // I’m Just Here for the Drinks – This book includes a guide to spirits and over 100 cocktail recipes.  Perfect for the bar master and just a gorgeous book to display on a bar cart!

10 // Yeti Cooler – This cooler is similar to #6, but this one is a little easier to use so I included it for those who don’t have the patience for the other one.  Haha.

11 // Socksmith Socks – Fun socks are always one of my favorite things to include in stockings so B has quite the collection (and yes, he wears them!).  I came across Socksmith when we were in the mountains last month and they have the best stuff.  Pretty much anything you could ever want on a sock, they already have it – tacos, sloths, pizza, honey badgers, cacti, beer, old presidents, etc.  So many funny things on socks!  They make them for ladies, too!

12 // Devotional for Men – I’ve gotten so into my devotionals and meditating this year that I’m recommending them for anyone and everyone.  This #1 best seller on Amazon was written for men by men.  There are 365 devotions, one for each day of the year, and each one only takes about five minutes.  This is perfect for someone who is trying to find new ways to grow their relationship with God.

And that wraps up my gift guides for 2019, y’all!  If you missed any of the previous ones you can see them below!  And if you like what you see, don’t forget to pin them for easy access later!  Happy shopping, y’all!

Holiday Gift Guide 2019 - For the Ladies

*This post contains affiliate links.  As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

This is always my favorite gift guide to put together each year because I get to search for some really fun, cute stuff!  Today I’m sharing a few gift ideas for the ladies in your life…

1 // Gold Bow Clutch – How gorgeous is this clutch?  It’s perfect for a fancy evening or even a date night with the hubs.  It comes in 13 different colors and at less than $20 it’s such a steal!

2 // Choose Joy Bracelet – Wearing motivational quotes, sayings, or bible verses on your wrist is a constant reminder to stay the path.  These can also be customized taking your gift to the next level.

3 // Cozy Slippers – I’ve had these slippers for a couple of years now and I still love them every bit as much as the day I got them.  They keep your feet cozy during the cold months and they’re the perfect shoe to wear all over the house.

4 // Tassel Earrings – I just love a good jewelry find on Amazon!  These tassel earrings come in 31 different colors and at under $15 they’re an affordable gift for anyone on your list!

5 // Pop Socket – I can’t even tell you how many times my Pop Socket has come in handy!  Everyone should have one on their phone.  They come in countless colors and patterns, but this buffalo plaid one is perfect for this time of year.  It’s been in my wish list for a while.

6 // Cozy Throw – I splurged on this throw earlier this year and I’m here to tell you, it’s worth every penny.  It’s gorgeous in person, it’s high quality, and it’s so heavy and comfy.  I use it pretty much every evening while B and I sit on the couch and watch TV so it was worth the investment!  It’s so much more luxurious than our old basic fleece throw that we had prior to this one.  This one is also currently 25% off!

7 // Cute PJs – I’m drooling over these buffalo plaid PJs.  They’re so fun for this time of year!

8 // Long Gold Necklaces – This trio is perfect for the jewelry lover on your list.  Three different necklaces for only $11.99.

9 // When Less Becomes More by Emily Ley – This long anticipated book is finally out this week and I can’t think of a better gift for every single woman I know.  As business women, wives, mothers, friends, daughters, and so many other roles, we are all stretched so thin.  In this book, Emily Ley explores how less can be more in this season of life and how we should embrace the important things in life that fill our cups.

10 // Gold Glitter Belt – This belt is absolute perfection.  The gold.  The glitter.  The circle closure.  Love love love.

11 // Diffuser – Essential oils are the perfect way to unwind and uplift and they can be used for so, so many things.  I’m completely hooked on mine and this diffuser is one of my favorites.  It’s stunning in person.

12 // Yeti Tumbler – Oh hey, there’s that tumbler again!  I told you it’d be on pretty much every gift list this year.  Everyone drinks water and this is the perfect way to stay hydrated throughout the day while keeping your water (or other beverage of choice) cold!

13 // Cozy Socks – I sleep in fuzzy socks like these all winter long and they keep my feet nice and toasty without the typical discomfort of regular socks.  Typically, regular socks make my legs itch because of the seams, but that doesn’t happen with fuzzy ones like these!

14 // Pom Pom Pillow – This is the perfect throw pillow for any room in the house – master bedroom, living room, chic home office.  You can’t go wrong with the creamy white color or the pom poms.

15 // Beanie – Perfect for keeping warm outside during the cold winter months.  And I love the blush color!

16 // Gratitude Journal – I kept a gratitude journal last year and it did wonders for me.  This would make a thoughtful gift for anyone.

17 // Barefoot Dreams Cardigan – I’ve heard for years just how wonderful this cardigan is… it’s definitely a splurge, but I’ve heard it’s well worth it.

18 // Bracelet Key Ring – These bracelet key rings are basically the best invention ever.  I got one last year and I love it so much!!  It allows me to wear my keys on my wrist which keeps both hands free for all of the carrying, picking up of kids, etc.  Now I don’t have to worry about losing my keys in the bottom of my purse!  This one comes in 32 colors/patterns and it's only $11.96.  It would make a perfect teacher gift!

19 // Latte Bowls – I love latte bowls because not only are they cute for serving, they also double as décor!  Anthro has them in many colors, but I love this shade of lavender.

I’ll have my gift guide for the guys up tomorrow so stay tuned!  And if you missed any of the others, you can see them below.
