Christmas Home Tour 2021

Hello, hello and welcome to our Christmas home tour for 2021!  As in year’s past, many things are similar, but as always, I did a few tweaks here and there to get things just right.  As with any of my home tour posts, I’ll let most of the pictures do the talking!

Come on in!

This year’s front porch is the same as in year’s past, but I did order new entryway trees this year since ours were on their last leg.  Unfortunately, one of the entryway trees was damaged upon arrival, and my replacement didn’t arrive in time to be photographed, so just pretend there’s a second entryway tree on the right side of the door, too.  ;o)

Heading inside, the formal dining room is on the right with the same decorations as the last few years…

And into the living room!!  The mantle this year is the same as last year, but the wall hanging above the mantle is different… we have the round mirror up right now instead of the pink floral print.  That pink floral print will go back up when Christmas comes down, though!  I do miss the color there.

This year, for the first time ever, we moved the Nativity to the coffee table to make a space for… the Home Alone Lego set.  Yep, B surprised us with one, and we’ve decided to incorporate it into our décor each year.  Nothing says Christmas like Home Alone, and I think the house looks darling sitting in the corner over there.  Now all we need is a light kit for it and we’ll be golden!  And I love having the Nativity on the coffee table as a focal point.  That’s what we should all be focusing on the most this time of year anyway, right?

Moving on into the kitchen… the bar cart, tablescape, and other random decorations are similar to last year’s…

Moving on upstairs to the master bedroom… this year’s decorations are the same as last year’s… and, as always, this tree holds all of B’s and my leftover snowflake ornaments from our wedding.

The trees in the kids’ rooms house all of their handmade ornaments throughout the years, and they are my favorites.  Here’s Jacob’s room…

And Olivia’s… so many precious little treasures on both of their trees.

And finally, my office!  This year, I put up my rainbow tree again, but instead of adding the white garlands to separate the colors, I decided to start adding ornaments of all of my favorite things to add some interest.  As of now, I have a Lindsay’s Sweet World blog ornament, a donut, a glass of red wine, a Starbucks red cup (we’ll just pretend there’s a Peppermint Mocha in there), a cross, a Moscow Mule, a rainbow, and a Friends ornament.  There are soooo many more that I want to add to this tree, so stay tuned as I update it each year!

And in addition to my big rainbow bottle brush trees, this year, I also added some tiny ones to fill in the gaps.  The whole pack was in the Target dollar spot for just $3 and I couldn’t resist it!

And that’s the tour, y’all!  Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Monday, y’all!

  1. Everything looks SO good!!! Such a warm and cozy home. Love the switch of the nativity, because the Home Alone house is PERFECT for that spot. And I cracked up at the Buzz's girlfriend's picture on the bar cart. Too funny!
