Five on Friday - Five Affordable Amazon Summer Dresses That I Own and Love

Hey y’all, happy Friday!  A few weeks ago, I shared some Amazon dresses on my wish list, so today I thought I’d share some of my tried and true favorites that I’ve purchased from there over the years.  Summertime is just around the corner, so dress season is upon us, and Amazon is, hands down, my favorite place to shop for summer dresses!

O N E – Tiered Babydoll Dress

This was my most recent dress purchase from Amazon, and I purchased it last fall when it was on a lightning deal, so I haven’t had many opportunities to wear it… I’m looking forward to wearing it a lot this summer!  This dress is easy breezy and comfortable, so it’s the perfect thing to reach for when it’s hot, and the silhouette is feminine and flowy.  The dress isn’t lined, but the fabric is thick enough that tanks and slips aren’t needed underneath.  The directions say, “hand wash only,” but mine has washed just fine in the washing machine and then I just lay it flat to dry.  It comes in ten different colors, and it’s less than $30!  Order your normal size for a flowy fit.  I’m wearing a small.

T W O – Tie-Front A-Line Midi Dress

My love for this dress runs deep, y’all.  I purchased this one back in 2019 and it’s still one of my favorites to this day.  It’s such a fun, unique piece, and it’s perfect for the beach or date night or girls’ night out.  The tie in the front is adjustable so you can get the perfect fit in the bust, and it comes in 40 different colors and patterns so there’s something for everyone.  It fits true-to-size and I’m wearing a small.

T H R E E – Tie-Strap Maxi Dress

The color and pattern of this dress was the selling point for me.  When I first saw this beauty, I couldn’t add it to my cart fast enough.  This dress is another comfy and cool option for summer, and it could be dressed up or down for any event.  All of the reviews say to size up one size, so I bought a medium, and it ended up being perfect.  The bust in the medium fits me perfectly, so I believe the small would have been too tight.  And if you don’t like the color or pattern of this one, it does come in three other colors/patterns.

F O U R – Spaghetti Strap A-Line Midi Dress

This dress is a bit more fitted than the previous dresses, but it makes for a really slimming and flattering silhouette.  The buttons on the dress do work, so it’s easy to get on and off, and the fabric does have a little bit of stretch to it for added comfort.  It comes in 24 different solid colors and patterns, and it runs true-to-size.  I’m wearing a small.

F I V E – Plaid Sleeveless Sundress

This dress is another loose-fitting option, although, I like to pair it with a belt for a slimming effect.  The fabric is super soft and flowy, and the dress is fully lined so there’s no need to wear a tank or slip underneath.  It comes in 22 different solids and patterns and it runs true-to-size.  I’m wearing a small.  Oh, and did I mention it has pockets?!
