Five On Friday – Top Gift Picks For Each Important Person on Your List

Happy Black Friday to all of you!  While I am enjoying the day off today, I won’t be partaking in any of the madness… I do love the hustle and bustle of shopping during the holidays, but Black Friday has just gotten a little too out of control for me, so I usually stay home and decorate for Christmas instead.

Later today we will be going to find the perfect Christmas tree and then we will spend the evening decorating it… It’s one of my favorite nights of the whole year!

Since the shopping season is officially upon us, today I’m sharing my top gift pick for each of the important people in your life.

O N E – The Hubs

If your husband is anything like mine, then he is pretty much impossible to buy for… why is that?!  There are a ton of things that I can think of that I want, but why is it that guys are always so much harder??

Most guys I know love beer, and Brian is definitely one of them.  I would consider him to be somewhat of a beer connoisseur, as he loves trying different beers whenever we travel, and he loves to visit our local craft beer store every time we get a chance.  Well, if your husband loves beer as much as mine does, then this Beer Cap Map is the gift for him!

It’s perfect.  It gives him something to hang in his office or man cave, it gives him something to display all of those cool bottle caps (we save all of ours in a huge glass jar), and it gives him a goal to work toward… a challenge, if you will.  And what guy doesn’t like a good challenge?  Especially when it involves beer!  Not to mention, it just looks cool hanging on the wall.

I mean, I think I want one for myself!
I also found another website who sells them by the state, should you decide you want one for the state in which you live.

This one will definitely be under the tree for Brian this year, so I have banned him from reading this post…

You better not be peeking, Brian.  If you do, you better act surprised.

T W O – The Little Boy

Jacob has circled the Hot Wheels Ultimate Garage Playset in every single toy magazine that we’ve received this season, so I think it’s safe to say that he wants it.  This toy is every little boy’s dream… it stores 36 Hot Wheels cars and it has ramps everywhere!  The recommended ages are 5-12 years so it’s something that he will likely play with for years and years before outgrowing.

Plus, it’s big enough for multiple kids to play with at the same time without getting in each other’s space.  I’m sure Olivia is going to be excited about this one as well!

T H R E E – The Little Girl

We got the Radio Flyer 4-in-1 Trike for Olivia (and Jacob as well) for her first birthday, and she adores this thing.  There are four ways to ride – an infant trike, a steering trike, a learning to ride trike, and a classic trike – so it accommodates a broad age range (nine months to five years).  Both of our kids have enjoyed theirs and they were definitely worth every single penny.  These were probably some of our best purchases for the kids to date!

They are also sold in red in case you are shopping for a boy.

F O U R – The Girlfriend

Bath & Body Works 3-Wick Candles will always have my heart.  They beat Yankee Candles and all other brands of candles, hands down, in my book.  They offer tons of different scents so there’s something for everyone out there.  My picks right now are Champagne Toast, Pomegranate Prosecco Punch, and Be Joyful.  You guys, every single one of these smells soooo amazing.  I’m gonna be burning these well into the new year.

F I V E – The Co-worker

Chick-Fil-A is like, the best place, evarrrr.  We have Chick-fil-As on every corner down here in the south, and there’s not one person I know who doesn’t absolutely love it.  For those of you who don’t have any locations nearby… I’m so sorry!  How do you live without one?!

Anywho, Chick-Fil-A sells calendars every year for $5 each, and each calendar comes with a card with a free offer for each month of the year.  Some months it’s a free sandwich, some months it’s a free milkshake, some months it’s a free salad, and so on.  By spending only $5, you are giving someone probably around $40 worth of free food!  And they are perfect for guys and girls alike.  Not to mention the calendar is always adorable.  I just love those Chick-fil-A cows.

I hope this list has been helpful!  Happy shopping, everyone!
