What I Wore

Happy Thanksgiving Eve!!

This has always been one of my favorite days of the year... growing up I always loved it because I was so excited knowing that the next day we would get to wake up, watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and help my Momma cook for our giant Thanksgiving dinner with all of our extended family.

In my pre-kids adult life it was always one of my favorite days because it was always one of our biggest party nights of the year.  It was the one margarita night per year when all of my girlfriends and I "allowed" our guys to come, and then we would all go downtown and bar hop all night.  It was always the best night to bar hop because we constantly ran into old friends who were in town for the holidays, so it always felt like a reunion.  Plus we never had to wake up early on Thanksgiving so we could stay out as late as we wanted and not pay the price in the morning.

Now that I'm a momma, our weeknight bar hopping days are limited, but we have even more amazing things to look forward to... our Thanksgiving Eves are always filled with yummy dinners, fires in the fireplaces, good Christmas movies, and lots of snuggles on the couch in warm PJs.

Man, I love Thanksgiving Eve!

Here some looks from this past week... we spent a lot of time in PJs this weekend, so there was one day that I never even dressed in regular clothes.
