I was originally
planning on recapping our Easter weekend today, but you know what? Yesterday afternoon the weather was
incredible, we had several hours available to just do nothing, and my sweet
family was calling my name, so I decided to skip out on spending time in my
office to spend precious time with those who I love the most.
Olivia played
hairdresser with my hair while B and Jacob put together some of his new Legos, we
made a cheeseboard and poured a couple of glasses of wine for dinner, we put on
some tunes, and we spent a couple of glorious hours on the back porch taking
time out to just soak each other up and just “be.”
And I wouldn’t
trade it for all of the blog posts in the whole world!
We so rarely
get to do that, and it was much needed downtime after a busy week! I’ll be back tomorrow to recap our Easter… it
was such a great one!

today so that helped afford me the luxury to do nothing all day yesterday
afternoon. Today I’ll be doing all the
things to make up for it. Still totally
worth it! ;o)

I hardly ever blog on Mondays in the Spring and Summer because we are always so busy busy busy on the weekends soaking up all the sun we can.
