What I Wore - April Recap

It’s officially May and our weather has (somewhat) regulated.  We are still enjoying chilly mornings but our afternoons have all been gloriously warm and sunny, so it should be safe to say now that we shouldn’t have to revert to sweaters and boots again until fall.  April was colder than usual for Georgia, but we had a few warmer days sprinkled in, so my wardrobe was just all over the board last month as it was in February and March as well.

Such is life in the south in the spring, I suppose!

Before I get to this month’s outfits, I just wanted to point out a couple of my new favorite pieces for spring and summer one more time… I know I’ve already mentioned them once before, but here they are one more time in case you missed them!

This kimono is a piece I know I’ll wear all summer long, and you just really can’t beat the price!  Also, these basic cross-front tees are also perfect.  You can dress them down with shorts and sandals for every day wear, or you can dress them up with skinny jeans and heels for a date night out!  They are such great basic pieces, but I like that the criss-cross front adds a little bit of flare.  ;o)

And one more important thing - my very favorite leggings of all-time, the Zella Live-In Leggings, on are MAJOR sale right now!  They're marked down to just $34.84 from $52.00!!  If you've been wanting to try them, now is the time!  I will tell you, they are worth every single penny.

And now for this month’s outfits!  As always, I linked as many items as I could underneath each picture.

  4. Well... that ended up being an expensive little side trip! LOL. I went to check out the cross front tees and found quite a few tops I liked at Old Navy. We seemed to have skipped spring and are headed into summer with highs in the upper 80's today and I am so not prepared wardrobe wise.

  18. Great outfits. I should do that. I take outfit pics of my daughter's school outfits & post it on my 2nd blog. So hard to keep up with. I see a lot of your clothes items that I like.

    1. Yes, it is definitely hard to keep up with! Now that I've gotten in the habit of it, it's a lot easier to remember, but in the beginning I was all over the place!

    1. Thank you! Yeah, it was hard to remember to do that at first, but since I've been doing it for a few years now, it's gotten to just be a habit!
