We’re heading to the happiest place on earth one week from today and we’re all so excited we can’t stand it! Since this is our third Disney trip as a family, I feel like we have a pretty good handle on things, so I thought I’d share some random thoughts, favorite products, and various other randomness about the topic.
I also have a play list of all of the songs from all of the Disney soundtracks that we can listen to as well. The sound tracks in my mix are as follows:
This year, we
decided not to do the matching shirts thing.
We did that back in 2018 for our first trip, and one of the days on our last
trip in 2022, but now that the kids are older, we thought it wasn’t necessary. That said, we are all still planning on
rocking some Disney themed tops, so I thought I’d share a few finds today.
First up, are these Princess Eras Tour tees!!!! Oh.em.gee. if these aren’t the cutest things I ever did see?! A couple of weeks ago when we were looking through the kids closets to see what they had and what they needed, Olivia told me that she wanted a “Taylor Swift Disney shirt.” I headed straight to Etsy, and of course, they delivered.
We found these darling tees, and I couldn’t order one fast enough. Olivia requested pink, of course, and it arrived last week, and it’s just the cutest thing ever. After ordering one for her, I started having regrets that I didn’t order one for myself, so I headed straight back to Etsy and grabbed one for myself in white and I have no regrets. ;o)
For Jacob, he’ll
be wearing Star Wars shirts every day, and thankfully, we didn’t have to buy
anything new for him. Amazon has some
really great ones, though. This one is really simple for someone who doesn't want anything over the top...
And this one is so cute because they look like little old-school video game characters!
And they also
had this shirt that Olivia almost chose over the Baby Yoda dress…
And how precious is this one?! Most of these are licensed, too!
Since my
birthday falls during the kids’ spring break again this year, I get to
celebrate my birthday at Disney again, and this time, instead of celebrating it
in Animal Kingdom (lame! Haha), we
planned it to where we will be in Magic Kingdom for my birthday this time!!!! I get to eat in my favorite restaurant in all
of Disney (Be Our Guest) for my birthday dinner, and I’m soooo excited. I plan to wear my birthday Disney shirt again
that day so I can get a second use out of it, too. It’s the cutest!
We are planning on taking a half day to go to the pool midway through the week, so the kids got new suits – this one for Jacob, this one for Olivia, and yes, I even ordered myself a new one. Also, totally random – but did y’all know that Victoria’s Secret has started selling swimwear again?!?! Y’all, VS were the ONLY swimsuits I wore my whole life until they discontinued the line, so I am ecstatic to see that they’re back!!!! They are, by far, the best fitting and best quality swimsuits I’ve ever owned.
We will also,
of course, be bringing our Mickey ears and Minnie ears, and we’re super excited
because the kids can finally bring their autograph books again!! Back in 2022 they were still distancing for
Covid, so we weren’t able to do autographs, so the kids are excited to be able
to do that again.
Now that the
kids are older, we’re not going to have to carry very much stuff, so Brian is
going to carry a backpack and I plan to carry my belt bag. Last time, I used this giant one, but I’m
thinking this year I’m just going to use my Lulu dupe. We’re keeping it simple this year!
As you’re
reading this, I’m probably starting to pack.
Since spring break is the week after Easter, we leave for Disney the day
after Easter, so we obviously won’t have much time to pack on Sunday, which
means… it’s time to get it started!!
Which also means… it’s time for me to go!
But before I leave you, I’m going to link to as many of my old Disney posts that I can find. I always get tons of questions about our trips, what to pack, tips and tricks, etc. so hopefully you can find what you’re looking for in one of the posts below.
Do note that the Disney process is ever-changing, so some of the tips and tricks may be outdated by now!

I'm jealous. I wish we could go!
ReplyDeleteI hope y'all get to go sometime soon!
DeleteI hope you all have the best time!! We read a book one year just before leaving home on all the hidden Mickeys around the world and had a fun time trying to spot the ones we read about (and could remember) some of them are really hard to spot and see.
ReplyDeleteI've heard about that but we've never looked for them. I need to remember to research this before we go so we can all look!
DeleteYou found the best shirts! How wonderful it will be to just carry a belt bag now that you have "big" kids! When we went to Disney with our teens, we had coordinated shirts, but not matching. It was lots of fun, and I was thankful that everyone wanted to participate in my clothing "suggestions." ;) Hope you have a good start to the week.
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm so excited about just carrying the belt bag this time. The first time we went we had a stroller and backpacks and a million other things. We've certainly come a long way! I love that your kids were good sports and wore the cute clothes! ;o)
DeleteThat eras princess shirt is so cute. I don't know if I could get Aut to wear it, she is SOOO picky these days and only wears neutral colors in athleisure when not in her uniform. :( We are going on a Disney cruise (our first) this summer and we LOOOVE Disney, so I can't wait to hear about your trip!

Ooooh I cannot wait to hear about your cruise! This will be our third trip to Disney but we've never been on a Disney cruise! Our friends went last year and they said it was amazing! I hope y'all have so much fun!
