Wednesday Wish List - Off the Shoulder Tops

Spring started off early here in Georgia this year – in that winter pretty much never came – so we have already been enjoying short sleeves and lighter clothes for quite some time.  However, this week the temperatures have suddenly dipped into the 20s and 30s at night with highs only in the 40s and low 50s during the day, and all of the cold weather has me pulling my sweaters back out and dreaming of all things spring.

I think the thing that I’m most excited about for spring this year is the off the shoulder trend… I have always loved this look – it’s so feminine and classic.  With several concerts and events, date nights, and a beach trip lined up, plus potential trips to Atlanta and Nashville in the coming months, I’ll have lots of excuses to be rocking this trend!

A few of my favorites...

Finally, many people have asked where I got my shirt that I wore in my Lindsay's Sweet World is Two posthere is the link!  It was on sale when I bought it, but it's still only $19 full price!  Can't beat that!

Happy shopping, friends!

  1. I am a little slow to embrace the off the shoulder trend - it just doesn't seem comfortable! They really look cute, though.

  2. Want and love them all. I am a queen of OTS and literally have 3 of OTS tops and dresses to take to Vegas soon. Sometimes the shoulders are tough to keep down but if you're just out on date night or for a short time, the look of OTS is so so pretty!

  7. I am loving all of the off-the-shoulder tops this spring and summer. I love the pink j crew one that I have been seeing everywhere. I wish I could wear these to work, but alas, I have to live through everyone else. Hahaha! Love this trend and I love your picks. Have a wonderful day!

  11. I love this trend, but like Beth I don't know if I could pull it off, and I always think, am I going to be constantly pulling it down after it slips up onto my shoulders? Hmm...hehe.

  12. Very cute choices! I loved the one you had on in your pics. I love the off the shoulder look, but always feel like the bagginess of some of these would make me look silly. The one you got fits you perfectly, and I love the design. Also love the dress you got! I need to find one that fits me right.

  15. I love the off the shoulder trend, but am not a fan of a certain undergarments that would have to be strapless...

    1. Yeah, those are definitely a pain! I wear a lot of stuff like that during the summer, though, so I've gotten used to it!

  18. So many cute finds and so many fun things you have on the horizon! I love this trend too, just not a fan of it for everyday wear. The ones I have tend to ride up if I lift my arms too high and with kids that's kind of impossible. I'm like you, I save it for date night or special events :) Beautifully Candid

  19. I love that J Crew dress you ordered so much. And love the long sleeve white top-there is just something so amazing about a cute, crisp white shirt! And that top you wore in your anniversary post is seriously the cutest-I don't think I could pull that look off!
