Five on Friday - Nordstrom NSale Favorites That Are Still Available

I hadn’t planned on posting about the NSale this year, but I ended up buying a few necessities in the sale earlier this week when it opened to the public, and thought I’d share those plus a couple of faves from previous years since they’re still available.  Or at least I hope they still are by the time you're reading this... we all know that with the NSale, stuff is constantly selling out and being restocked.  At the time that I'm writing this post (late Thursday afternoon) everything is stocked.

O N E – Caslon Rounded V-Neck Shirt

I bought one of these tees in the sale several years ago, and it has been one of my favorite go-to shirts ever since.  It’s great to throw on during the summer with shorts, and it can also be used as a layering piece under a cardigan during the fall and winter.  I’ve worn mine countless times in countless different ways, and it is still going strong all these years later.  It washes and dries well, and it is a STEAL at just $12.90.  I loved this pink and ivory striped version, so I’m going to give it a try, but it comes in 11 other solids and patterns if pink and ivory isn’t your thing.  And, it’s still fully stocked in nearly all colors/sizes.

T W O – Chantelle Seamless Hipster Panties

These are, hands down, the best undies I’ve ever owned.  They’re comfortable, they don’t ride up, and best of all, they are truly seamless and do not show through your clothes… even leggings!  I wear these every single day and I was SO excited to see that they have a leopard option this year.  They are pretty pricey as far as undies go, but undies are one of the things that I’m willing to splurge on if it’s the only way to get exactly what I want.  I only buy these in the sale, and each pair lasts 2-3 years before they start losing their shape.  They’re marked down to $14.90 per pair in the sale, but if you buy 3 or more, the price drops to $13 per pair.  I cannot recommend these enough!  They come in lots of different colors and all colors are still fully stocked.

T H R E E – Zella 3-Pack Low Training Socks

I bought a 3-pack of these Zella socks a couple of years ago during the sale, and they are my favorite socks ever.  They’re thick but comfy, and mine still look brand new two years later.  I somehow lost a pair this past year, so I went ahead and bought another 3-pack during the sale this year.  These are $18.90 for the 3-pack, which again, is pricey, but now that I’m running, I need my feet to be as comfortable as possible and these do the job better than any others I’ve tried.

F O U R – Spanx Faux Leather Leggings

I bought these famous Spanx faux leather leggings in the sale last year, and I’m here to tell you, if you’ve been on the fence about spending that much money on a pair of leggings JUST DO IT.  These are so worth it.  I held off on buying these for years because I just couldn’t bring myself to pay that much for a pair of leggings, but last year, I finally gave in, and I love them so much.  The are the comfiest things ever and they look so dang good on everyone.  They suck everything in and smooth everything out.  You can dress them up for a fancy date night, you can dress them all the way down for a jog in the park, and you can dress them every way in between.  I love mine so much I dedicated this entire blog post to them, and you can see it here.  If you’re ever going to want to try them, now is the time while they’re marked down from $98 to $64.90!  I do recommend sizing up one size for ultimate comfort, though.

F I V E – Barefoot Dreams Cardigan

This cardi is the softest, coziest, warmest thing and you’ll not only want to wear it out and about, but while you’re lounging around at home, too.  This is another item that’s always wildly popular during the sale, and this year they are actually still available in all sizes in two of the colors.  In the past, these have always sold out within the first couple of days.  They are marked down to $69.90 from $116.00 and the NSale is pretty much the only time I’ve ever seen them on sale.  If you’ve had your eye on one, it’s time to get it while the getting is good!

  5. Hahahaha! I needed the lifeguard meme. Those undies seem like they'd be great. Leggings are life and seamless undergarments that don't ride up would be amazing!
