Five on Friday - Lululemon Belt Bag Dupe, Viral Amazon Dress, and the Best Battery-Operated Candlesticks

Happy Friday, y’all!  Due to the weather, our tailgate/high school football game tonight was rescheduled, so we don’t have much going on this weekend, and I’m SO looking forward to the downtime.  We’ve had a busy last few weeks, and I’m ready to just sit on the couch and watch football all day tomorrow in my fall wonderland!  ;o)

Are y'all ready for some favorites?  I have some good ones this week!

O N E – Lululemon Belt Bag Dupe

Okay y’all, if you’ve been looking for the Lululemon Everywhere Belt Bag and you haven’t been able to get your hands on one, I’m here to tell all of you that this bag from Amazon is the perfect dupe and it’s only half the price!

This bag is the same size and the same fabric as the Everywhere belt bag, and it has one main compartment as well as one outside compartment that sits flush with your body.  The main compartment has one large pocket on one side and two smaller pockets on the other side, and it’s roomy enough to fit all of my essentials.

The bag can be worn as a crossbody, around your waist, or even on one shoulder if you prefer.  The strap is adjustable so you can get the perfect fit, and the strap is soft and wide for all day comfort.  It comes in 22 colors and it’s only $18.98.

I am absolutely thrilled about this bag and I’m so excited to use it for all of our upcoming outdoor activities.  I’ll be using it at all of the school football games!

T W O – Viral Amazon Dress

I’ve had this viral Amazon dress in my wish list for years, and I finally made the purchase in red so I can wear it as my Christmas dress this year.  Not only is it perfect for Christmas, it’s also perfect for football season and I hope to wear it for a game or two as well!  I don’t know why I waited so long to buy it, but I’m so glad I finally did because it absolutely lives up to the hype!

Based on the reviews, I sized up to a medium (from my usual small), and I’m so glad I did because it’s perfect.  I think the small would have been a little too snug around my hips/butt area, and it also might have been too short.  The medium fits beautifully and has enough length so I can wear it to church, and I cannot tell you how impressed I am with the overall quality of the dress.

It's made from a thick fabric that feels very durable, and the puff sleeves absolutely make the dress.  The tie in the front allows you to adjust the waist to your liking, and it is so darn flattering!

This dress comes in every color of the rainbow – 31 colors to be exact! – and it is just a fabulous choice for fall and winter.  I highly, highly recommend!

P.S. Don't mind my makeupless face, my janky hair, and the pile of dirty towels in the background.  #RealLife  Hahahaha.

T H R E E – Battery-Operated Candlesticks

Y’all!!!!  These candles are my new favorite thing!!!!  If you watched my Instagram stories this weekend, then you probably saw them, but for those of you who didn’t, you should totally go and pull up my “Favorites” highlight and see them in action.

I wasn’t totally happy with my fall mantle last year and I knew I wanted to add something to change it up a bit this year, so I opted for these candlesticks, and they were exactly what the mantle needed.

These candlesticks are battery-operated so there is no actual fire used, and that means that you can place them anywhere without having to worry about little kids getting into them or catching something on fire.  The candles are made of real wax, though, so they look authentic, and the battery-operated flames dance just like real flames… I don’t know how on earth they made them look so realistic, but they did.  They are incredible.

The candles also come with a remote control, so you can turn them on and off with the click of a button, and you can also customize some of the settings – you can adjust how bright/dim they are and you can also opt to have the candles flicker or provide solid steady light.  There is also a 2, 4, 6, and 8 hour timer, so you can set them to turn off automatically.

They look gorgeous with my fall décor, and they’re going to be even better with my Halloween décor!!

Right now, they’re 43% off, so be sure to grab them while they’re on sale if you’re interested!  And don’t forget the candlestick holders!

F O U R – Sweet Kale Chopped Kit

I recently came across these chopped kits at Publix, and I cannot stop eating this sweet kale salad!!  It’s a combination of green cabbage, broccoli, kale, Brussels sprouts, and radicchio, and it comes with a packet of sweetened dried cranberries and roasted pumpkin seeds that you can toss into it with the poppyseed dressing.  It is delicious and nutritious and so dang easy to throw together.  One bag lasts 2-3 lunches for me depending on how much I eat with it each day.  Publix puts them buy one get one free sometimes, so I load up when they do!  So if you’re looking for an easy, healthy lunch suggestion, here you go!

F I V E – Pro Wedding Pics

My friend, Lauren, got the professional pictures back from her wedding, and I loved these!  One of my favorite places to be – EVER – is on the dance floor, and clearly, it shows.  ;o)

  2. Glad to hear the bag is great! The dress is really cute too. I think it would be too short for me - not that I'm tall at all, I just don't like very short dresses!

  3. That sounds like a perfect weekend! It'll be hot and sunny for the foreseeable future here. But I still have the house decorated for fall!
    That dress is so cute!
Your blog is one of my favorites and since bloglovin no longer works I'm having a hard time commenting. Maybe the technology expert around here (husband) can look into it. Enjoy your cozy fall like weekend!

    1. Yes, the weather might not be cooperating, but at least it looks like fall inside. ;o) I know, such a bummer about Bloglovin. I still don't know why they shut it all down. So strange!!

  8. I got all battery candles in our bedroom, but I wish there was a way to be able to turn them on all at once by clapping or something! Ha, ha! We do have a main light in the room too with a light switch, but the candles are on the dresser and nightstands. I love yours! I have two of the actual LuLu bags (black and white) and my daughter stole them. I wish I had known there were dupes! That red dress will be SO pretty for Christmas! I finally got that salad and I'm going to try it for lunch Monday!!
