Five on Friday - My Amazon Prime Day Top Sellers

Happy Friday, y’all!  Although I barely shared any deals this year on Instagram for Amazon Prime Day, I still had a lot of sales, and I owe most of them to my blog post from July 8 as 4 / 5 of the top purchases made through my links were from there.

Today, I thought I’d share the top five purchased products through my links during the sale, and I have to say, the number one item was surprising.  I own every single one of these items and LOVE them, though, so I can totally get why you all wanted to get your hands on them, too.

Working our way backwards from five to one…

F I V E – Mini Belt Bag

This one wasn’t shocking at all as soooo many of you have purchased this bag through my links over the years.  This is, by far, one of my favorite Amazon purchases of all-time.  It is identical to the popular Lululemon version, but for a small fraction of the cost – same fabric, same smooth zippers, same exact pocket setup, same size, same adjustable strap – the only thing missing is the Lululemon logo (obviously).  I love how simple this bag is, and I love that it can be worn as a crossbody or around the waist.  It’s small, but it holds a TON, and it’s the only bag I bring when I travel now.  It comes in 39 colors and it’s truly a great purchase.  It would also be a great gift for any tween or teen, and you could fill it with fun stuff like water bottle stickers, skin care items, money, or whatever else to customize it for the receiver.

F O U R – Space Saving Shorts/Skirts Hangers

The number four most purchased item was these hangers.  They are SO good, y’all.  I bought the three-pack last year to hang my shorts and skirts, and it literally saved me more than a foot of horizontal hanging space in my closet.  I went from having an overstuffed rack of shorts, skirts, and pants to having so much breathing room because of these babies.  Each hanger holds six pairs of shorts or six skirts (you could even use them for pants!) and they allow you to utilize your vertical space.  The clips on the hangers slide side-to-side so you can adjust them for the waistbands, and you can even attach these hangers to each other to save even more horizontal space.  They are amazing!

T H R E E – Prepared Hero Emergency Fire Blanket

I bought this last year when I saw them in an ad online, and they have given me such peace of mind.  A house fire is one of my biggest fears, so I’m incredibly relieved to know that we have an easy way to put one out should the need arise.  These blankets can be placed over wood fires, paper fires, grease fires, and even electrical fires, and since they’re made of 100% quality flame retardant material, they put the fire right out.  It doesn’t cause a mess like a fire extinguisher does, and they’re reusable, they’re lightweight, and they never expire.  We actually had to use ours once already (cringe), and I’m happy to report it worked!!  We have a wood-burning fireplace in our home, and twice now since we’ve lived here, we’ve had a situation where there was a weird downdraft in our chimney which caused the smoke to billow into the house rather than up and out the chimney like it should.  One evening last winter, Brian lit the fire in the fireplace, and the smoke started coming into the house (and yes, the flue was open, so that was not the problem), so Brian was able to run and grab our fire blanket and lay it over the fire in the fireplace to smother it right out.  It went out immediately, stopping the smoke in its tracks.  It was so easy, and the craziest part is that the blanket still looks brand new – no smoke stains or marks on it or anything!  And putting the fire out with the blanket was way less messy than putting it out with a large amount of water like we had to do the first time it happened.

T W O – Pumice Stone Toilet Bowl Cleaner

I bought this pumice stone toilet bowl cleaner a few years ago because the kids had a couple of hard waterstains that wouldn’t come out with anything else.  This thing is a total miracle worker, y’all.  It removed the stains completely, with minimal work.  Since it’s a pumice stone, it works similarly to a sander to gently buff out the stains.  It removes calcium, rust, limescale, mildew, and hardwater, and it’s chemical-free, non-toxic, and odorless.

O N E – Clear Crossbody Stadium Bag

And finally, the number one seller through my links was this clear stadium bag!  I’ve had this one for years, and it’s awesome – lightweight, small, and the strap can be adjusted so you can wear it as a crossbody or at your side.  It has one main pocket as well as a smaller inside pocket, and the plastic is soooo soft.  It’s not hard like most clear bags.  We go to a lot of concerts and sporting events that require clear bags, so I always have one of these in my closet!
