Happy Friday, y’all!  Well, two weeks down and one to go before the kids get out for a nice, long Christmas break, and we are counting down the days!

It seems like it’s been foreverrrr since I’ve shared any favorites with all of you, so I have a backlog of really great stuff to share today!  Let’s get started!

O N E – Christmas Quilt

When I tell y’all that I am obsessed with our new Christmas quilt, I am not exaggerating.  I’ve had my eye on this quilt for weeks (months?), so when I saw that it went on massive sale on Thanksgiving Day, I couldn’t grab it fast enough.  Y’all, it is even better in person – absolutely S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G – and I cannot get over how festive our bedroom looks now.

I have always wanted Christmas bedding, but I’ve never wanted flannel sheets (they’re too hot for me and they stick to my pajamas) and I’ve never wanted a full comforter set either, so this quilt was the perfect addition for a pop of holiday cheer.  It also matches the décor in our room, so it doesn’t look too wild in there.

Now that I’m sharing it, I can see that it clearly comes with pillow shams, but for some reason I didn’t realize that when I purchased it (I thought they had to be purchased separately) so I was thrilled when I unboxed it and the pillow shams rolled out.  I’ve never heard of a matelassé quilt, so I wasn’t sure what to expect when it arrived, but y’all, the fabric is so unique, so soft, so stretchy, and so beautiful.  I could gush about this thing all day, seriously.  The best part is that it’s machine washable and dryer safe so it will be easy to care for throughout the years, and it should last forever since the quality is excellent.

If you’re looking for something fun to add to your bedroom or your kids’ bedrooms, this set is perfection.  I haven’t been this pleased with a purchase in so long.  Seriously, seriously so obsessed with it.  Haha.  Oh, and it comes in different sizes!  It would be beautiful to throw over a couch as well.

T W O – Rothy’s Flats

I have been talking about my Rothy’s flats on the blog for years.  I have two pairs (one pair of red flats and one pair of leopard flats) and they are the best flats I’ve ever owned.  I have been wearing mine for years and they still look brand new.  Why?  Because they’re made from recycled water bottles so they’re incredibly sturdy and they never show wear and tear.  And also, they are fully machine washable so they never look dirty!!!!

I saw recently that they’ve added so many different variations to the original flat – single straps, double straps, large bows, small bows, studs, buckles, and so many other accessories that make them look even more chic than they already were.

I’ve wanted a pair of black Rothy’s for so long since they go with everything, and I’m dying to get my hands on either one of these pairs.  The bow flats would be my number one choice, but I’ve never worn the pointy Rothy’s before and, therefore, don’t know if they would scrunch my toes.  If they do, I wouldn’t like that.  But I also looooveeee the double buckle flats, and I know that those would be a winner for comfort for sure!  I’m adding them to my wish list that I posted a few weeks ago, but I wanted to share them here, too, since Rothy’s has been having some good sales recently.

If anyone has ever tried the pointy toed Rothy's let me know how they fit!

T H R E E – Bow Cardigan

I saw this cardigan at Target when Olivia and I were browsing a couple of weeks ago, and I tried it on and loved it.  It was full price at the time, so I put it back, added it to my online cart, and then waited for it to go on sale for Black Friday, and I saved 40%.  Ha!

This cardigan is super soft, it’s comfy, and it’s perfect for the holiday season.  It also comes in a black furry version, a Tiffany blue with little crystal studs all over it (I LOVE that one, too), and red with red bows.  It’s true to size and I can’t wait to wear it!

F O U R – Girls Christmas Dresses

We had to shop for a Christmas dress for Olivia while we were at Target, and she tried on several different ones including the three below.  Ultimately, she chose this red tiered lace dress because it fit the best, but we both really loved this plaid bubble hem dress with bows and this red bubble hem dress.  Olivia is very thin like her Momma, so both bubble dresses were way too big in the armpit/chest area, so neither of those worked for her, but the red lace dress is perfection.

And since the dresses are all sleeveless, she needed a good cardigan, so we grabbed this one.  It’s absolutely beautiful (the picture doesn’t do it justice) and it looks great with all the dresses.  Again, we waited until Black Friday to purchase her dress and cardigan so we saved a ton of money, but the quality of all these items is excellent, so I would have paid full price for them, too.

F I V E – Christmas Gift Idea for the Wicked Lover

While we were shopping, we also came across this book.  It’s a large coffee table style book with loads of pictures from the movies, and I thought it would make a great gift for anyone who loves these movies.  I will say this – one of the books wasn’t shrink-wrapped in the store, so we were able to thumb through it, and the paper and photo quality inside wasn’t as nice as I would have expected, but I do think that most people wouldn’t even notice that.  It’s a Target exclusive and it’s 30% off right now!
