Elsa's White Hot Chocolate

I’m so excited to share this recipe with you today, but I’m even more excited to announce that I have joined some of my favorite ladies to co-host the Tuesday Talk link-up!  Every Tuesday, we will be chatting about anything and everything that comes to mind… recipes, crafts, fashion, mommy life, life in general, whatever our little hearts desire.  Some of you may already be participating in this link-up, but for those of you who are not, what are you waiting for?  All you have to do is write something epic each Tuesday (or, ya know, just write something) and join us!

Now on to the recipe…

Our kids (like most others) are completely and utterly enamored with Frozen.  The movie has been out for years, and yet Anna and Elsa don’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon.  They seem to have the kind of staying power that just won’t quit.  I came across this recipe in a local publication a couple of months ago and I knew that I had to try it for our kids and, of course, I knew that I had to share it with all of you.

Buy It

1/2 Cup White Chocolate Chips
1 3/4 Cup Milk
1/4 TSP Vanilla Extract
Neon Blue Food Coloring
Whipped Cream
Sprinkles

Make It

1.    In a small saucepan, heat the milk and white chocolate chips over medium/low heat.  Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly until all chocolate chips are fully melted.  Do not bring to a boil.

2.    Remove from the heat.

3.    Stir in vanilla and 3 drops of food coloring.

4.    Pour in a clear glass (I mean, the kids are going to want to be able to enjoy that fun Elsa color so you can’t just pour it in any regular mug) and top with whipped cream and sprinkles.

This recipe makes two servings.  Just be sure to let it cool a bit before serving it to your littles.  (Although, I’m sure you already know that.)

Now turn on Frozen for the 3,243,112th time and enjoy…

… if you can actually enjoy something that you’ve already watched 3,243,111 times, that is.

And finally, in case all of this Frozen talk just hasn’t been enough for you… Let it goooo!  Let it goooo!!!!  Can’t hold it back anymoooooooore!

You’re welcome.  ;o)

  4. Ummm...that looks and more importantly sounds so yummy! I want to make them now. My kiddos would love them. And I agree that it doesn't seem like Frozen is going anywhere. Emmy talks about it and has never watched the movie in it's entirety.
