Five on Friday - This is My Grown-Up Christmas List for 2020

We interrupt this barrage of gift guides to bring to you… a few things on my wish list!

O N E – Home

Polka Dot Throw Pillow Covers (2) – I’ve been searching high and low for some cute polka dot throw pillow covers, and I finally came across these when one of my blogger friends posted about them in her Instagram stories.

Throw Pillow Inserts (Set of 2) – I’ll obviously need a couple of pillow inserts to put in the covers, and this set has over 4,000 reviews with 4.8 out of 5 stars.

Tour Double Old-Fashioned Glass (4) – We have beer, margarita, wine, and martini glasses, but we don’t have any good ol’ cocktail glasses.  We have a set of the Tour wine glasses, and I’d love to have a matching set of four of these old-fashioned glasses.

Tour Champagne Glass (4) – I want the matching champagne glasses, too!  I love the Tour line at Crate and Barrel because they’re made of break, chip, and scratch resistant glass, so they can go in the dishwasher for easy cleanup!

Lamps (Set of2) – the lamps in our living room were a wedding gift 13 years ago, and the shades are rusting and broken, and one of the shades falls off of the base a lot.  The light switch on one of them is now also loose, so it’s hard to turn on and off.  The base and shades are also outdated, so we’re long overdue for something new.

Ceramic Diffuser – This is the same diffuser that was in my gift guide for the ladies, and I’d like to have one for my office.  I already have a diffuser in there, but it’s pretty plain, and I’d like to give Jacob the option of having it in his room since he likes to use oils at night.

Rae Dunn Hey Y’all Mug – “Hey, y’all” is my catchphrase, and I’ve wanted this mug for years.  It’s impossible to find it in a store down here in the south since they get snatched up immediately, so the only way to get it will probably be on eBay.

T W O – Clothes

University of Georgia Women’s Intramural Tank Top (Size – Medium, Color – True Red Heather) – I have loads and loads of Georgia apparel, but I don’t have a workout tank.  This one from the UGA Bookstore is perfect!

Georgia Bulldogs Pressbox Women’s Big Team Logo Sweatshirt (Size – Medium, Color – Heathered Gray) – I wear oversized sweatshirts often at home, and I only have one Georgia one, so I’d love to have this one, too.

University of Georgia Women’s Plaid Sherpa Quarter-Zip Pullover Jacket (Size – Medium, Color – Red/Black) – I love this one, too… looks so snuggly!

Heart Sweatshirt (Size – Medium, Color – Grey) – Since I’m mostly living in loungewear these days, I wouldn’t mind having more of it.  I love this slouchy heart sweatshirt and it has great reviews.

Heart Graphic Tee (Size – Small, Shirt Color – Heather Mauve, Font Color – White) – I loooove this graphic tee, too!  We won’t be going anywhere or doing much until this virus leaves, so tees and sweatshirts it is until then!

Tank and Shorts Pajama Set (Size – Small, Color – Pat1) – I am so picky about what I sleep in, and it’s hard for me to find PJs that fit all of my requirements.  I only sleep in tanks and shorts and they must be cotton or some kind of cotton/polyester blend.  I don’t like silk and I definitely don’t like flannel as it sticks to the bed like Velcro.  The tanks have to have spaghetti straps or very thin sleeveless straps such as this one and the shorts need to be very short and fitted, too.  I don’t typically have a problem finding a PJ set with a tank that works… it’s the PJ shorts that always give me trouble.  It seems that I can only ever find shorts that are too long or baggy, and then they twist around me while I sleep.  This set is cute, and it looks like it could fit all of my requirements.  If anyone has any PJ brands that might fit this description, please do share.  Oh, and they have to be cute.  Let’s not forget that.  ;o)

T H R E E – Accessories

Apple AirPods with Charging Case – since I’ve started walking and running so much in quarantine, I’ve decided it would be easier to have some wireless AirPods so I don’t have to deal with a cord anymore.

AirPods Case Cover with Clip – I love this pink case to put them in.

F O U R – Books & Media

The Return by Nicholas Sparks – I own and have read all of his books, and he has a new one out!

The Home Edit Life: The No-Guilt Guide to Owning What You Want and Organizing Everything – As someone who is very sentimental and cannot get on board 100% with the whole less is more mantra, the title of this book speaks volumes to me.  It also doesn’t hurt that the cover is rainbowtized and the book is about organization either.  If there was ever a book that screamed Lindsay, then this would be it.

The Heir Affair by Heather Cocks – I bought The Royal We to keep in my collection because I loved it so much, and this is the sequel, so I will obviously want to add it to my library as well.  :o)

The Year of Cozy by Adriana Adarme – This book has been on my wish list for years and I’ve never gotten it, so it’s still here.  Haha.

The Family Stone DVD – I love this Christmas movie, and I’d like to have it on DVD so I can watch it in my office, since it’s not streaming for free right now.

F I V E – Gift Cards

Amazon, forever and ever.

  9. Your Christmas list looks great! I swear I've seen the Hey Y'all mug around here... but of course that doesn't help you since I'm in NJ! Haha. I've wanted The Year of Cozy for a while, too, and honestly there's no better year for it. Have a fun weekend!
