Fall Family Photos 2020

We did our own photos for 2020 yet again using a tripod and a camera with a timer.  We used the same park that we’ve used in previous years, but this year we decided to find a different spot in the park, and I much prefer the new location.  The greenery was more lush, the colors of the leaves were more rich, and there were fewer rocks and dead weeds on the ground.  :o)

The day we took our pictures it was very cloudy, which was good for Jacob’s cooperation as he hates opening his eyes in the sunlight, but bad for the lighting for the photos.  I was able to brighten and warm them up a bit when I edited, but they’re still not as good as they could have been had it been a sunny day.  You just can’t fake natural sunlight!

Without further ado, here they are…

And finally, here's what happens when you do your own photos with a tripod and a timer... you have little creepers photo bombing away in the background without your knowledge.  Hahahaha.

Happy Monday, y’all!

  2. You are a pro with that tripod - they seriously look professional! We deal with the squinty eyes too with Grace. It's so funny how Jack can have a great picture taken in bright sunlight, and Grace can barely open her eyes. Great photos!
