What. A. Week.  I’m beat, y’all.  The end of the school year is no joke.  I swear, May is the new December.  Heck, it’s crazier than December!  Throw in a night and day away for a concert, a funeral, and teacher appreciation week and it makes for pure chaos for one week.  We’ve been running nonstop and I’m thankful that it’s Friday!

Are y’all ready for some favorites?

O N E – Slant Collection from Target

Target does it again, y’all!  Have y’all seen their newest collection from Slant?  They have a whole line of cups, tumblers, and koozies to keep your drinks looking fresh and cute for summer!  Y’all know I’m a sucker for anything with a cute little graphic on it, and these don’t disappoint.  The scalloping on the koozies is probably my favorite thing about the entire collection.  And the koozies all have a little pocket for your cash or cards.  So cute!

I picked up this I’m so Fancy set to keep on hand for gifts.

But I think I love this cactus and pineapple set even more.

They also have this Wife of the Party set that would be adorable to give to a soon-to-be bride.

I love this Sip Sip Hooray tumbler… it’s perfect for drinks by the pool!

And this Sippin’ Pretty cup is adorable, too.

But this It’s Spiked wine tumbler takes the cake.  How cute!

The perfect collection for summer gifting!

T W O – Cat and Jack Americana Collection

Target is also killing it in the little girl’s clothing section.  (Aren’t they always, though?)  I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – Cat and Jack is one of my favorite brands ever for kids.  Their clothes are the absolute cutest and everything is so affordable.  Shirts for $7.99?  Yes, PLEASE.

We just donated the last of Olivia’s red, white, and blue attire as she’d outgrown it, so I picked up a couple of pieces by Cat and Jack that she’ll be able to wear for Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day… and any other day during the summer for that matter!

This striped dress is PRECIOUS... the picture doesn’t remotely do it justice!  This one jumped in my cart and came home with us to replace the dress we just donated.

This watermelon top is also precious… again, the picture doesn’t do it justice.  I loved this one so much, I bought it in an XL for me!  #NotEvenKidding  I mean, $7.99, y’all!

This romper is so cute and I would have been all over it for Olivia, but she isn’t a fan of rompers… probably because it’s such a pain to go to the bathroom in them!  Haha.

And finally, this dress was my second favorite and the runner up to the striped dress.

T H R E E – First Communion Professional Pictures

Last month, Jacob received his First Holy Communion and the professional pictures are available now!  I thought I’d share them really quickly here.  Look at my precious Boo.  <3

F O U R – Mother’s Day

I’m so blessed to have my Momma in my life.  She’s always been my safe place and the person whom I turn to for pretty much everything.  I’ve asked her countless questions over the years about cooking, life, parenting, and everything else you can think of and I’m thankful that she’s always there to answer.  She always knows what to say, even when she doesn’t necessarily have the answer.  They say that it takes a village to raise a child and I’m just so blessed that she’s part of my village.  Happy Mother’s Day, Momma!  We can’t wait to celebrate you!

F I V E – Funnies

And finally, as promised, some funnies to get your weekend started on the right foot!  It’s all about laughter, right?

Olivia still struggles with this.

This would legit happen to me because I'll do anything to avoid an awkward situation.  Haha.

Me every day this week.

AMEN!!!!

Happy weekend, y’all!

  6. Those first holy communion pictures are precious. Wish they did that at our church. I think that might be a private school thing? My cousin had that done at her daughters private school. Such a happy day. Happy weekending friend, and Happy Mother's Day!

    1. Yes, our church is huge. We actually had to have three different First Communion masses this year because the church wasn't big enough to hold everyone all at once.
