Hey, y’all!  I can’t believe another week has already come and gone.  We’re now on the homestretch of summer with exactly one month left before school starts.  We’ve reached the point where we’ve pretty much done all the things (with the exception of a few bucket list items) and the kids are at the point where they seem to be getting a little crazy from lack of structure.  Once July 4th is over, I’m totally ready for fall anyway, so it won’t hurt my feelings when that day comes… even though it will suck having to wake up at 6 AM every morning again.

Anyway, y’all ready for some favorites?

O N E – Rainbow Dress

I was browsing Amazon earlier this week to check out some of the early Prime Day deals, and I came across this darling rainbow dress for Olivia.  She loves all things rainbow (as do I) so I couldn’t resist.  It arrived yesterday and it is even more precious in person!!  The fabric is super soft and, although it’s not lined, it’s thick enough so that it’s not see-through.  I bought a size 5-6 for Olivia and it is perfect because she’ll be able to wear it as a maxi dress now, a mid-calf length dress next summer, and an at-the-knee dress the following summer!  At just $13.99 it looks like we will most definitely be getting our money’s worth!

T W O – Scratch and Sketch Books

The kids bought these Scratch and Sketch books from a little book store in 30A when we were on vacation and they are pretty much the best things ever!  Each book comes with a wooden stylus and you use the stylus to scratch away the pages, kind of like lottery tickets.  Some of the pages require you to draw your own things, and some of the pages have pictures that you trace.  When you use the wooden stylus to “draw” it scratches away the top layer of the page revealing sparkly or shiny patterns underneath, so the kids drawings turn out so cool!

Our kids have been using theirs nonstop since we bought them at the beginning of June, and they love them so much that I’m already getting ready to purchase another one for each of them for Christmas.  There are so many different themes – unicorns, mermaids, dinosaurs, under the sea, solar system, etc. so there’s something for everyone.  They are perfect for Christmas gifts (yes, I’m already starting to think about that) and they would also make super cute gifts for birthday parties!  They’re super affordable at just $10-$12 each and I feel like you get a lot of bang for your buck.

T H R E E – Sweetest Gift

My friend, Dara, from Not in Jersey reviewed some Emoji Fruit Snacks from one of her influencer boxes on her blog a couple of weeks ago and I made the comment that our kids would think they were the coolest thing.  Well, she emailed me, asked me for my address, and mailed them to us so the kids could enjoy them!  I thought it was just the most thoughtful thing and our kiddos were SO excited.  You just made their day, Dara!  Thank you again!

F O U R – Amazon Influencer Program + Amazon Prime Day

I have been an AmazonAssociate for a few years now, meaning that I get commissions when people click and make purchases through the links I use here on the blog.  (You can see more here about my disclosure if you have questions.)  Well, I recently found out that in addition to Amazon Associates, Amazon also has an Amazon Influencer program.  I’ve been wanting to apply for months and I’ve never had the time, but earlier this week I finally sat down to do it and they approved me!

I’m SO excited about this because I am now able to have my own Amazon Storefront which means I can save aaaallll of my favorite Amazon recommendations in one place!  I’ve been working on organizing them into categories all week, and I love how easy it is to find everything now.  I get asked constantly about different products I’ve purchased so now if anyone has any questions about products, they can just click here to access my store front and find exactly what they’re looking for!

I have so many fun categories – Ladies Clothing, Gift Guide for Girls, Gift Guide for Boys, FALL!!!!, Home Organization, Home Décor, Great Reads, Coffee Table Books, and so much more.  All of these categories contain all of my favorite things, most of which I’ve purchased in the past and currently use, and also a few things that are on my wish list as well.  Head over and check it out when you get a chance!  You can even follow me on there just like you would follow me on social media.

And speaking of Amazon, guess what happens Monday and Tuesday?!  Amazon Prime Day!!!!  Amazon Prime Day is the day that Amazon marks down thousands of items which is crazy since their prices are already so competitive.  Last year, I got a big chunk of my Christmas shopping done on Amazon Prime Day and we saved a ton of money!  I’ll be sharing some of my favorite bargains on Monday so be sure to check back or shop here for all the savings!

And if you’re not already a Prime Member, be sure to sign up here so you can join in on the savings!

F I V E – NSale Reminder

Finally, just a reminder that today is the first day for early access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!  All of their brand new fall goodies will be marked down significantly and then once the sale is over, the prices will return to their normal retail price.  All Nordstrom card holders can start shopping today and everyone else will be able to start shopping on July 19.  I’ll definitely be participating once it opens to the public… I’m in need of a new pair of Zella leggings and I’ll also be stockpiling my favorite undies since they're marked down to $14.90 from $20.  I also have my eye on this lace cami, but it'll probably be sold out before I have the chance to snag it.  I’ll probably share a few other faves next week sometime, too.  Shop here, y’all!

Here are some funnies for the week!

The struggle is real, y'all.  I'm at the point of summer where I have no clue what to even feed them anymore.

And this is why our A/C is always cranked down to 73 degrees.  Anyone else?!

Exactly!  It's basically January.

And in case you missed it, here’s what happened on the blog this week…

Happy Friday, y’all!
