Five on Friday - My Birthday Wish List

My birthday is next month so I thought I’d share a few things that are on my wish list right now…

O N E – For the Home

Please Wash Hands Sign – Funnily enough, I've had my eye on this charming little sign for our guest bathroom for a few months now.  I love it because it’s very similar to my beloved Let’s Go Out/Let’s Stay In sign by Hearth and Hand and I also love it because I’m a germaphob.  ;o)  It's obviously now also incredibly fitting with the Coronavirus outbreak.  Haha.

Gallon Glass Jar with Lid (3 of them) – Our laundry room has been a hot mess since we moved in the house and I’d like to get it in order this year.  I want three of these glass jars to store my dryer balls, detergent, and lint.  Right now, we always leave lint in a pile on top of the dryer and I'd like to have a place to store it until we need to dump it in the trash can.

Brookstone Heated Micro-Fleece Blanket (Twin size) – I’m always freezing and most of the time I can’t get warm no matter how much I bundle up.  I’m thinking a heated blanket would work wonders for me!

Crate & Barrel Tour Wine Red Wine Glasses (2 of them) – B and I love wine, so I do have a few different sets of glasses, but I’d like to add two of these to my collection.  They are stunning.

Crate & Barrel Tour Champagne Glasses (4 of them) – We don’t drink a lot of champagne around these parts but I’d still like to have a set of four champagne glasses for the rare occasions that we do.

Crate & Barrel Rainbow Felt Ball Garland – I’d like to have this to hang in the playroom and it could also double as a prop for photos.

T W O – Clothes

Ruffled Mini Skirt, White with Black Dots, Size Small – Love love love this skirt for summertime!

Babydoll Dress, Pink, Size Small – This dress is perfect for summertime and the beach!

Spanx Faux Leather Leggings, Very Black, Size Medium – These have been on my wish list foreeeeverrrr but I haven’t bought them because of that dang price.  I want them soooo bad, though.

Twist Front Tank, Blue, Size Small – I’m in need of some new work-out tanks and I like how this one is long enough to cover my booty.

Twist Front Tank, Bugundy, Size Small – Another workout tank in a different color.

T H R E E – Accessories

Apple Watch – I’ve had this on my list forever as well, mostly because I want to start tracking my activity.

Rothy’s Flat, Spotted, Size 7.5 – Yep, these are still on my wish list.  Why are they so dang expensive?!  I really love the idea of the new Mary Janes with the bow, but I've seen a couple of people say that the bow doesn't stay tied, so I think I'll stick with the flat!

Universal Thread Martina Gladiator Sandals, Cognac, Size 7.5 – I’m in need of some new brown sandals for summertime.  My $6 Walmart ones lasted for two whole years but they’re now showing some signs of wear.

Stackable Bracelet – These cuff bracelets are my jam.  I love that they look like multiple bracelets in the front, but they’re clasped together in the back so they don’t slide around on your arm all day.

James Michelle Ball Stacking Ring, Size 7.5 (3 of them) – I want three of these to stack!

White Bralette, White, Small – still in need of one of these for summa summa summa time!

F O U R – Books

Get Out of Your Head by Jennie Allen, Hardcover – so many people have highly recommended this book and I'm dying to read it.

The Year of Cozy by Adrianna Adarme, Hardcover – this has been on my list foreverrrr, too.

F I V E – Gift Cards

Amazon – My Amazon wish list is always bursting at the seams so these are always wanted.

Etsy - There are several items I'd like on Etsy so gift cards would be perfect!

Friday Funnies

Between the time change and more rain/clouds this week, I'm definitely a passenger on the struggle bus.  Beep beep!

We survived!  Now WASH YOUR HANDS!
Can't go wrong with Amazon jokes.
Fingers crossed!

Well, I guess I'm safe!  Hahahaha.

On the Blog This Week

Happy Friday, y’all!

  1. So many good things on your wishlist. You know I am hoping for some of those wine glasses, too (albeit the smaller size). They are just soooo pretty!

  3. Great items on your wishlist. I have a rainbow garland like that that I got from Michaels, it's a Christmas tree garland! Love the Amazon Prime funny. Thinking of you, hope the kids were ok with the Disney news.

  5. This is an awesome wishlist! I want an Apple watch too, but don’t think I’ll buy one anytime soon And it’s too expensive to ask for as a birthday gift. The sign also is definitely fitting for the times.

    1. Yes, they are SO expensive... that's why I haven't bought one yet. I've been wanting one for years, but goodness, they cost so much!

    1. Oh I'm so glad to hear that! A heated blanket will be THE BEST during the winter. Sometimes I can bundle up a ton and still not be warm.
