4th of July Home Tour

All this year, I’ve been working hard to get our everyday home decor just perfect – rearranging things, donating things I no longer love, and carefully procuring new items that I love.  I finally have everything looking just the way I want it to for the first time in the ten years we’ve lived in this house, and now that I have it the way that I like it, I wasn’t quite ready to pack it all up to put out my 4th of July décor.  I also didn’t want the holiday to go unnoticed, though, because y’all know how much I love decorating for a holiday, so I took a cue from my good friend, Emily, and decided that I’d go minimal on the decorations this year.  All it took was a pack of little American flags, and my job was done.  You can get a pack of 24 for just $5.99 here on Amazon!

Come on in!

I love that I didn’t have to put away any of my everyday décor, but I also love how well the little red, white, and blue flags pack a punch.  The best part, though?  Cleanup will be a breeze when the holiday is over!

Happy Wednesday, y’all!

    1. So much easier than taking everything down and completely redecorating. I mean, it'll be fall before we know it, and I'm not quite ready to part with my everyday decor!

  2. Thanks for the shoutout! Love how this all turned out, and like you said, clean up will be a breeze! I shouldn't be surprised about the deal on flags from Amazon, but I am, haha. Such a steal!

  13. One thing I loved about being an active duty military family was that it was completely normal to have flags ALL over your house! Ha! I just LOVE the American flag and love how you incorporated it in subtle ways throughout your home. :)
