What I Wore - June 2019

June included our beach trip, which was full of cute sundresses and fun shoes, and then we got home and I pretty much lived in… jean shorts, my favorite brown sandals, and a tank or tee.  Before I get started on what I wore for the month, I wanted to highlight a few favorite pieces…

This dress from Amazon that I wore on 6/5 is pretty much my favorite dress I’ve worn all summer!  It is just so cute and I wish I could get it in every color and pattern.  The cut-out is just so fun!  And for only $22.99, you can't beat it!

This dress from Kohl’s that I wore on 6/4 and 6/21 is also a fave… it’s comfy, perfect to dress up or down (you could even wear it to the office with a cute blazer, cardigan, or denim jacket), and it’s so affordable that I bought it in two colors.  I’ve worn it for a night out at the beach, I’ve worn it to run errands, and I’ve worn it to dinner with friends… it’s so versatile!

This pink pineapple dress of Olivia’s is definitely Olivia’s pick for the month… she has worn it countless times already.  She doesn’t always want to be in the picture with me, but you can see her in it on 6/3 and 6/23.  I love this dress because she’ll wear it as a maxi dress this summer, a three-quarter length dress next summer, and maybe even a knee-length dress the following year.  We love love love maxi dresses for this very reason… because they will grow with your child for years!  You’ll definitely get your money’s worth!

These brown Saltwater sandals that Olivia is wearing in pretty much every picture are still going strong!  She's worn this exact pair for two summers now and they still look brand new!  She still has room to grow and they only get better with age.  I cannot recommend these sandals enough if you have a little girl.  Size up a little bit and they'll be able to wear them forever!  She almost always picks these during the summer because they're so comfy, and they're easy for her to put on herself.

Lots of people asked about my bamboo handbag from June 4.  I did NOT buy the designer brand because, in my opinion, it's silly to spend that much on an item that will go out of style in the next year or two, so I turned to trusty rusty ol' Amazon and I bought this one for just $22.99.

Finally, I had so many questions and comments about this straw pom pom bag that I used at the beach.  I actually bid on it and won it at the kids' school fundraiser this year, but you can buy it here.  See it on June 5 below.

Okay, enough with the highlights!  Here’s what I wore for the month of June!  As always I’ve linked as many items as I could find online, including Olivia’s outfits.
