What I Ordered from Amazon in August 2020

After last month’s huge haul, there wasn’t much left to grab from Amazon in the month of August, so today’s post is going to be short and sweet!

Here’s what I bought…

Fuzzy Socks

Fun fact, I have an impressive collection of fuzzy socks because I wear them around the house every single evening (even during the summer), and I also wear them on occasion during the day in the fall and winter.  Olivia has recently decided she loves them, too, so she has taken to stealing all of mine since she has none of her own.

As I’ve mentioned before, she’s not a very tidy person (to put it nicely), so half of my socks have gone missing, and I’ve been finding them all over the house in weird spots, like in her nightstand, shoved under the coffee table, and on the feet of her stuffed animals.  Lol.

I got tired of all of mine going missing, so I thought I’d just buy some for her so she can have her own.  Mine don’t fit her properly anyway, so it just made sense.  I found this six pack on Amazon, and she loves them.  They are soft, super cute, and they have the little grips on the bottom.  I personally don’t like my fuzzy socks to have grips, but I think it’s best for her to have them since she runs around on the hardwood floors often.

I know a lot of y’all aren’t even thinking about Christmas yet, but I am, and these would make great stocking stuffers for your littles!  As with pretty much everything on Amazon, they come in several different colors and patterns.

No-Iron Fabric Labels

Our kids have returned to school in-person, and they are required to wear masks the entire time they’re on campus.  The school asked that we label the masks, so I bought these no-iron fabric labels on Amazon, and they are absolutely perfect!  All you do is write your child’s name on the label with a permanent marker, apply the label where you want it, press down for 5 seconds, and that’s it!

The masks can be tossed in the washing machine and dryer as usual, and the labels won’t come off, nor does the marker bleed.  These are absolutely awesome, y’all.

Birthday Card

We’ve been avoiding going out in public when possible since some people are still refusing to wear masks here, so naturally, I turned to Amazon when I needed a birthday card!  They have tons to choose from, and you can find a lot of them for around the same price you’d pay in the store.  This one is funny.

Amazon Gift Card

And an Amazon gift card to go in the card!  They have so many cute options for every occasion and they all ship free and arrive in two days or less!  I’ve actually found that most of the time, gift cards deliver within one business day for us.  Even better!

  6. I love a good fuzzy sock in the winter, maybe I need to start wearing them all the time. That is so funny that she is basically hiding the socks. I forget Amazon has birthday cards, thanks for the reminder!
