Valentine’s Day Touches in Our Home

I’ve been enjoying our everyday décor since I put away all of our Christmas stuff, so I wasn’t sure I wanted to decorate for Valentine’s Day this year.  I knew the kids would be excited to have some stuff up, though, so I ultimately decided to go ahead and get a few things out.  The décor is verrrry similar to last year’s (and, really, every year), so if you were around last year, this might not be anything new.  Haha.

Here we go!  Let’s see all the pink and red!

The mantle is exactly the same as last year... I love a good tassel garland... it takes about two minutes to pop them up, but they make such a big statement!

Moving into the kitchen... I added a few touches to the bar cart, added a pink ruffled runner to the kitchen table, set out my Valentine's Day coffee mugs, added a couple of other random touches, and that was it, y'all!

  5. So pretty! I really love that holder for all your coffee mugs. And, I have a bar cart as well and I should change it up a little for each season like you do!! I was just thinking, arghff after today I'll need to take down all the V-Day stuff and put up Spring/Easter!!! It seems the V-Day decor just doesn't stay up long! But, I love it!

  6. Very cute little touches! I decided not to break out any of the Valentine's stuff this year.. I think I just don't like any of my decorations enough and I need to get some new/better things for next year.
