Unique Accessories for Owala Water Bottles

I did a post last year about accessories that are compatible with Stanley tumblers, and it was so successful that I thought I’d share a similar post, but this time for Owala water bottles.  According to Olivia, pretty much all of the kids at our school have made the switch from a Stanley to an Owala – probably because they seal completely – so they are very popular right now.

Our kids both made the switch this school year (Jacob from a Yeti and Olivia from a Stanley), and they both love the Owala the most.  Owala water bottles have the option to sip or use the straw as it’s an all-in-one product, and when pushed closed with the handle down, the bottle seals completely so you can toss it in a bag without worrying about leakage.

Today I’m going to share a few neat accessories that I’ve come across for these, and many of them would make great gifts / stocking stuffers for the holidays.

There are so many name plate options out there, and these are some of my favorites.  You can choose from 58 different bases (all different colors, solids, prints, and glitters) + choose from 43 different text colors to make it completely customizable to match any Owala bottle.  This is perfect for kids who are taking theirs to school each day, so they can easily tell theirs apart from others.  Olivia had one for her Stanley (and I have one, too!) so I will likely grab one of these for her Christmas stocking.

These scalloped lace edge name plates are another great option for customizing your bottle, and they also come in many different colors and patterns.

And here’s another listing for name plates because these patterns are some of my favorite!  Lots of plaids and ginghams!

The one thing I don’t like about the Owala water bottles is that they don’t have side handles, but you can add this one!  This handle slides on to any Owala (24 oz., 32 oz., or 40 oz.) and it stays firmly attached.  These come in a variety of colors, and they have excellent reviews.

This silicone handle option is also great because it acts as a protective sleeve for your entire bottle and the protective boot prevents the bottle from moving around or sliding.

Is your child always misplacing their bottle?  If so, this hidden air tag holder is awesome!!  Just add an air tag to the holder and slide the holder into a boot, and voila!  You’ll never have to worry about losing your water bottle again as you can track the bottle straight from your phone.

And speaking of boots, this bow boot prevents sliding and it’s so cute!

This is another boot option, but make it glittery.

And this cat boot is just darling… and so unique!  Olivia would love this one!

These decorative bow and heart decals are perfect for personalizing your bottles.  They are easy to place, they are durable, and they withstand multiple washings according to the reviews.

This bag holds your water bottle, your phone, credit cards or cash, and there’s even a hook for your keys.

This set includes a boot, a handle strap, and a keychain.  It comes in lots of different colors and patterns to match any bottle.

And if you have a need for a replacement cap (or if you just want new colors), these lids have 4.8 / 5 stars with lots of positive reviews.  They aren’t made by the Owala brand, but they appear to be just as good as they have the same leak-proof lids, one-button operation, and they fit perfectly with whichever size bottle you have.

You can also purchase replacement gaskets in different colors in this listing.

And replacement sealing rings here.

It’s also good to keep extra straws on hand, and these are compatible with all 24 oz. and 32 oz. Owala bottles.

Finally, this bottle brush is the perfect size to clean your bottle, and it comes with a built-in straw brush that tucks right up into the bottom.

Happy Wednesday, y’all!

  1. There's nothing worse than a bottle that leaks so the Owala bottles do sound great! What fantastic accessories!

    1. Yes, it would be nice to just be able to throw it in a bag! Eventually once my Stanley wears out I may have to switch to an Owala.

  2. I love this. I have an owala and love the main color but the top is kind of weird...maybe I'll replace it!

    1. Yeah all of their color combinations are really weird. I think that's one of the reasons I've been turned off by them, but now that I found this listing for these replacements I kind of want one!

  4. Such fun accessories. I never even thought of buying replacement seals and gaskets. I just end up buying a new water bottle when they get gross or broken

  5. I remember your Stanley post, and this one is equally as great my friend! I actually use an Ello brand one that I got years ago, but my hubby got one of these Owala water bottles from his work. I need to use it! I love that beautiful silicone boot that has a handle with it!!

  7. I don’t have an Owala myself, but I’ve heard so many great things about them! This is such a helpful roundup of accessories — I didn’t realize there were so many fun options out there.
