Five on Friday - April Goals

Today I’m recapping my March goals and listing my April goals.  As always, I’m using a Y for YES and N for NO to indicate whether or not I accomplished my goals.

March Goals

Relationships

Y  Go to dinner with girlfriends – We were actually able to go to dinner twice, and coffee once as well.  And I made it to soooo many lunches with old coworkers, too.

N  Go on a date with B, take 3.  Things were so busy this month that we just didn’t take the time to do this.  Again.  Sigh.

Personal/Health/Wellness/Fitness/Beauty

Y  Meditate, quiet time, and affirmations every day.

Y  Drink 64 oz. most days.

Y  Close all rings on my Apple Watch 19 days.

Y  Cut back on my evening treat and/or substitute something healthier. – Yep, I ended up skipping my evening treat many nights this month, and some evenings I just made a cup of tea instead.

Y  Start Lenten study. – I’m doing Dynamic Catholic’s Lenten study for the third year in a row and this has been the best year yet!

Y  Start taking new Young Living supplement. – I started taking YL’s Sulphurzyme this month as it’s great for joint support, hair, skin, and nails, and I’m loving it so far.  I have tons of baby hairs growing in on my scalp since I started using this, so it seems to be working its magic.

Y  Start stretching. – I only got around to it 4-5 times, but it’s a start!

Y  ENT appointment.

Y  Visit with my therapist.

N  Book next blood donation appointment.

Y  Read 1 fiction book.

Family/Fun

Y  Attend Ash Wednesday Mass with the kids at school.

Y  Take the kids to see Blue Man Group!

Y  Attend Olivia’s First Communion retreat.

Y  Attend opening ceremonies for the spring baseball season.

Y  Watch lots of Jacob’s baseball games.

Y  Resume Sunday lunches and dinners!

Y  Record a video every single day of the month and upload to my One Second a Day app.

Home/Organization/Planning

Y  Finish planning Disney World trip.

Y  Buy everything we need for Disney World trip.

Y  Buy everything for Easter baskets.

Y  Buy everything for Easter egg hunt.

Y  Start looking at summer camps.

N  Schedule somebody to install ledge in laundry room.

Y  Hang new towels hooks in kids’ bathroom to complete the whole project.

N/A  Buy bookshelves from Ikea for Jacob’s bedroom (assuming stock is available)Still no stock available at our closest store, so this was out of my control.

N/A  Clean off front porch. These next three things were intended for April’s goals as I always wait until the pollen is gone to do them… these weren’t supposed to be on this list so I’m crossing them off and moving them to April.

N/A  Clean off back porch.

N/A  Clean out garage.

N  Clean out closet in Brian’s office. – While I did get started on this, I haven’t finished.

N  Finish listing spring clothes on Poshmark. – I did get lots more listed, but I still have quite a bit to go.

Y  Complete 1-2 tasks on Master To Do List. – I did six things!  Woop woop!

Blog/Social Media

Y  Post 3-4 times most weeks.

N  Share kids’ bathroom refresh on the blog.

Y  Write all blog posts for spring break.

Y  Write 1 blog post for summer break.

  3. I finally got to lunch with a friend I hadn't seen since before Covid, so that was nice. We're going to try to make it a monthly thing, we'll see if that works! You look like you're having fun at Disney!
