Five on Friday - June Goals

Today I’m recapping my May goals and listing my June goals.  As always, I’m using a Y for YES and N for NO to indicate whether or not I accomplished my goals. 



May Goals

Relationships

Y  Go on a date with B, take 5.  Sheesh. – We went on two!  One overnight trip to Huntsville for a Dave Matthews Band concert, and a second concert to Dave Matthews Band in Atlanta!  The best kind of date!  ;o)

Y  Go to dinner with my girls.

N  Go to lunch with an old coworker.

N  Try to get canceled dinner from December rescheduled with my old coworkers.


Personal/Health/Wellness/Fitness/Beauty

Y  Meditate, quiet time, and affirmations every day.

Y  Drink 64 oz. water most days. 

Y  Close all rings on my Apple Watch 12 days.

N  Schedule orthodontist consult for Invisalign.

N  Start doing yoga again.

Y  Visit with my GP for my annual checkup.

Y  Donate blood.

Y  Read 1 fiction book. – I read two! 


Family/Fun

Y  Help out with Teacher Appreciation Week.

Y  Attend the spring social at school.

Y  Celebrate Mother’s Day.

Y  Watch Olivia dance in her fourth recital.

Y  Attend the Dave Matthews Band concert in Huntsville (maybe… haven’t 100% decided).

Y  Wrap up baseball.

Y  Celebrate the last day of school.

Y  Attend the Dave Matthews Band concert in Atlanta!

Y  Watch Olivia celebrate her First Communion.

Y  Record a video every single day of the month and upload to my One Second a Day app.


Home/Organization/Planning

Y  Get all school papers sorted and recycled/filed.

Y  Wash kids backpacks and lunchboxes.

Y  Change out bulletin board in kitchen for summer.

N  Clean off front porch. 

N  Clean out garage.

N  Schedule somebody to install ledge in laundry room, take 2.

N  Clean out closet in Brian’s office, take 2.

N  Finish listing spring clothes on Poshmark.

N  Complete 1 task on Master To Do List.

Y  Transition to 3 posts per week for summer.

Visit with my therapist.

Go to my semi-annual dentist appointment.

Go to my TMJ specialist.

Schedule orthodontist consult for Invisalign.

Find a good arms workout.

Start doing yoga again.

Read 3 books.

 

Family/Fun

GO TO THE BEACH!!!!

Try a new restaurant at the beach.

Send the kids to their first week of camp.

Start piano lessons for Jacob.

Start voice lessons for Olivia.

Take Olivia to her annual well visit.

Attend a goodbye celebration for our friars at church.
Take the kids to their semi-annual dentist appointments.

Spend lots of time with family and friends.

Practice mindfulness and being present with the kids.

Teach the kids to ride bikes.  Ugggghhhh.

Go swimming.

Watch TV shows with the kids – Lego Masters, The Floor is Lava, America’s Got Talent.

Kids get at least half of the kids’ summer homework done.

Try making some new cocktails at home.

Record a video every single day of the month and upload to my One Second a Day app.

Take a trip to Ikea to buy bookshelves for Jacob’s bedroom (if they ever have them in stock!).

Put bookshelves together (if they’re in stock).

Reorganize Jacob’s bedroom (if the bookshelves are in stock).

Paint Olivia’s desk.

Order items needed for Olivia’s desk area.

Get Olivia’s desk area set up and organized.

Clip plants and start rooting a couple for friends and family.

Redo 2021 One Second a Day video with new Windows program.

Clean off front porch.

Schedule somebody to install ledge in laundry room, take 3.

Clean out closet in Brian’s office, take 3.

  6. Yoga is on my list of things to start back up with, too. Maybe that can be our next challenge. :) Also, I am going to send you an arms workout I have seen floating around online - its short and sweet but has rave reviews from things I bought and liked, so you know it is good.
