Happy Friday, y’all! This was our first full week of work and school after two short weeks, so it felt like it was 84 days long… I’m ready for the weekend!
O N E – Gold Bond Plumping Collagen Body & Face Serum Lotion
I love Gold Bond products… I have been singing the praises of this neck and chest firming cream for years. It works so well to firm up and smooth out my neck that I neglected for so long.
I recently came across this Gold Bond Plumping Collagen Body & Face Serum Lotion, and I decided to give it a try just to see how it compares to the neck and chest firming cream. It’s supposed to increase moisture levels in the skin by up to 50% and it works continuously for 72 hours. The reviews are amazing, so I grabbed it while it was on a lightning deal and I’ll report back once I use it.
T W O – OPI Bubble Bath
It was time for a refill on light pink nail polish, and I decided to change it up and try a different shade this time. I grabbed this OPI polish in Bubble Bath, and I love it. It’s a beautiful neutral and it goes on sheer so you can layer it to get the exact depth and shade you want. I ended up doing three coats for an opaque look, and my manicure lasted for five whole days without a single chip. The polish goes on smoothly and it dries quickly.
T H R E E – e.l.f. Glow
Reviver Lip Oil
I started wearing lipstick every single day years ago because I love to have that pop of color on my face. I have worn this exact brand and shade for years because it goes so well with my skin tone. Olivia received this e.l.f. Glow Reviver Lip Oil from a friend for her birthday, and it looked so nice on her that I decided to grab a tube, too. I started layering it over my lipstick and it adds subtle shimmer + high shine to the whole look. Since it’s a lip oil, it’s also mega hydrating and my lips have never felt more moisturized. It comes in nine different shades, and you can use them for layering or wearing alone for a more natural look.
F O U R – Face &
Body Scar Gel
I mentioned this face and body scar gel on the blog a couple of months ago, and I finally finished my treatment and wanted to share my thoughts today. Back in 2023, I got a large blemish on my forehead and even though I tried everything to get rid of it, it was there for weeks. When it finally went away, it left a scar behind. I thought for sure it would be temporary, but two years went by, and it was still there.
I did some research and ended up grabbing this face and body scar gel because the reviews were so fantastic. I followed the instructions on the box – apply four times a day every single day for 60 days – but some days, I didn’t remember to apply it four times per day. I did apply it at least 2-3 times every single day, though, and I did see a noticeable difference at the end of use.
While my scar is still visible, it’s smoother and much less noticeable than it used to be so that is a win in my book. I was honestly hoping that it would eliminate my scar completely, but I’m not sure there’s anything on the market that could do that.
This gel can be used not only for scars, but stretch marks as well, and there are many impressive before and after pictures in the Amazon reviews.
F I V E – Texts from
Olivia
Last weekend, Olivia was in her room doing something and she texted me from her iPad to ask a question. After I responded, she sent me this text and I just melted…
Gah, I just love her. I still can’t believe she is twelve!
