What I Ordered from Amazon in May 2026

Happy Monday!  It’s Amazon post day – one of my most popular posts each month!  May was actually a fairly light month for orders, and most of it was for items that we needed rather than items that we wanted.  Let’s get started!

Vibration Plate

Brian and the kids gave me a vibration plate for Mother’s Day since I’ve been wanting one, and I chose this one.  I’ve had issues with swelling and puffiness my whole life (especially in my feet, ankles, and hands, but also in my abdomen thanks to my c-section 12 years ago), and while turmeric helped tremendously for years, I’ve been having issues with it again recently.  I started researching lymphatic drainage recently, and it turns out that vibration plates help your lymphatic drainage system get moving if it’s stagnant.  When your lymphatic drainage system gets bogged down, it can end up causing swelling and circulation issues, pain, and many other problems, so I’m wondering if that’s the issue that I’ve had my whole life.  Lymphatic drainage assistance is the primary reason that I wanted one, but in addition to that, vibration plates also offer many other benefits – faster muscle building and toning, increased bone density, enhanced circulation, better balance and stability, faster workout recovery, and reduced joint pain/stress.  I’ve seen many people also say that it helps keep their digestive systems regular, too, although, I never really came across any official data about that during my research.  When I first started seeing everything on social media about vibration plates, I honestly thought it was just another influencer trend that probably doesn’t work, but after doing lots of research, I found that it actually seems legit.  My upper cervical chiropractor is also a huge believer in supporting the lymphatic drainage system, and he ordered a lymphatic drainage massage for me a few months ago when I was having issues with my withdrawals from tapering from my vertigo medicine, and I swear it made a huge difference in my recovery.  I just talked to him about vibration plates at my last appointment and he said that they have HUGE benefits and they’re safe for me to use with my neck issues.  Win win!  I just started using it, so I’ll have to be sure to report back once I’ve used it long enough to see results.  This one still has a coupon for $41 off, too!

Floral Maxi Dress

I realized a few days before Jacob’s Confirmation that none of my dresses were ideal for the occasion, so I placed and emergency order for this dress.  It arrived on Confirmation Day, it fits perfectly, and I had just enough time to wash and dry it before the event.  I love this dress, y’all.  The print is beautiful, the cut is flattering, it has pockets!, and it’s crazy comfortable… I can even wear it with a regular bra since the straps are so wide!  While I would have liked it even better if it was cotton, I don’t think that the fabric takes anything away from the dress since it looks so great in person, even up close.  It comes in lots of colors and patterns and it’s the perfect summer staple since you can dress it up or down.

Ice Molds

I bought these ice molds for Brian last year sometime, and we love them so much that we just bought two more packs!  We use these all the time – for every type of cocktail – and they make every drink look so fancy.  The ice also doesn’t melt quickly at all when they’re in bigger pieces, which is ideal because you can get through an entire cocktail before it gets watered down, making the last sip just as good as the first!  They’re easy to use, the ice is easy to extract (just run them under a little bit of water and then pop them right out), and they elevate every single drink!  Oh, and the molds come in lots of fancy designs – bulldogs, hearts, roses, diamonds, and a few more!

Foundation

I needed a refill on my favorite foundation and Amazon is the only place I can find it in my shade since most retailers are usually out of stock.  I wear this foundation every single day for a flawless matte finish, and it’s light and long-lasting.  I’ve been using this one for years and it’s truly one of my favorite foundations of all-time.  You can’t beat the excellent quality for this drug store price.

Speed Cube

Jacob is obsessed with speed cubes, and he wanted to purchase this one with his own money for a bigger challenge since he’s mastered the others.  This one is pentagonal and it has 120 magnets that keep it running quickly and smoothly.  I cannot even imagine knowing how to solve this one, but Jacob is already working on perfecting his solve for this one.  It’s truly mind-blowing.

Ballet Shoe

Olivia already had this pair of ballet shoes that she’s been using all school year, but she had to have two pairs for her recital (one pink and one tan), so we purchased a second pair and then sprayed her old ones tan.  These are, by far, her favorite pair she’s ever owned, probably because we finally sprung for some high quality ones since she’s getting older.  This one has a split sole, it’s 100% canvas, and it has a real leather sole.  The elastic contours to the foot so there’s no need for a drawstring (those things are SO annoying) and they have several other features for maximum comfort.  These come in a massive selection of sizes including half sizes, narrow, regular, and wide options, so it’s easy to get the perfect fit.  Olivia is always really rough on shoes, but these have held up incredibly over the last ten months and they’re still going strong!

Jazz Shoes

Olivia also had to have two pairs of jazz shoes this year for the production (tan for one costume and black for another), so we bought a second pair in black.  These are pricey, but they are also excellent quality.  They have a soft leather upper and arch hugging neoprene satin stretch arches, and Olivia loves them so much.  I can’t say enough good things about these shoes.  We’ve tried several brands over the years, and these are superior.  Her tan ones have been used multiple times per week for the last ten months and they still look brand new.

Xyzal

I take this year-round, but it’s especially important this time of year when everything is blooming, and it has been saving my nose, ears, and throat these last few months.  I’ve never had any luck with Claritin, but Xyzal has always been great.  I’ve been taking it daily for probably more than a decade at this point, and it’s my favorite allergy medicine.

Flonase

I’ve been taking this daily for years as well, and it is just fabulous.  I’ve only had a couple of instances of having a stuffy nose since I started it, and it was only because I was sick and would have been severely congested without it.  It keeps me breathing freely through pollen and allergies + colds and other sicknesses, and I truly couldn’t live without it.

The Bible in a Year Volume III

I’m almost done with volume II, so it was time to purchase volume III of this Bible study that I’ve been doing.  I tried to get it from my friend’s bookstore, but she said it’s out of print, so I purchased one from Amazon since they still had it in stock.  I have been thoroughly enjoying this Bible study and I’ve learned so much from it.

Elastic

Olivia had two hats this year for her recital, so I had to purchase this nude elastic to sew on both so they would stay on her head while she danced.  It worked like a charm, the elastic blended in perfectly with her skin, and the hats stayed perfectly in place all night every night.  Whew.

Happy Monday, y’all!
