Fall is right around the corner, and even though it still feels like 1000 degrees outside, I’m browsing all the fall fashion and hoping that I’ll be able to wear some of it sooner than later. Today, I’m sharing 14 things that are trending in women’s fashion this fall…
Scallops
Scallops are having a moment right now, whether it’s home décor or women and children’s fashion, and they elevate even the most basic of tops. This sweater comes in eight different colors and patterns, and it’s highly rated for being well-made, comfortable, and lightweight. This one is already on my wish list!
Wide
Leg Jeans
Wide leg jeans have survived another season and they’re officially back for fall! This pair has been all over social media and they are popular for a reason. They’re so comfy, stretchy, and high-quality for a very, very reasonable price. They do run slightly long, so if you’re 5’5” or shorter, you may want to opt for the short inseam. I also love these. They are my current go-to!
Barrel
Pants
Barrel pants are also back for fall, and these athletic barrel pants come in four colors, they’re lightweight, they have UPF 50+, and they’re quick-drying and shrink resistant. They have a full elastic waistband and a comfy high-rise cut. Oh, and they have POCKETSSSS.
Crewneck
Sweaters
I can’t really think of a time when crewneck sweaters weren’t in style. They are a classic piece to keep on hand because they are fashionable year after year after year. I absolutely adore the drop-shoulder sleeves on this one as well as the wide hem. It comes in four different colors, and all are perfect for fall and winter.
Mesh
Ballet Flats
Mesh ballet flats are the shoe for fall! These look exactly like some of the high-end ones out there, but for a fraction of the price. They’re also highly rated for comfort due to their memory foam sole.
Gold Sneakers
I’ve seen so many influencers posting about gold sneakers, but most of them are crazy expensive. These won’t break the bank, they go with everything, and they’re also rated highly for comfort because they also have cushioned insoles.
Matching
Athletic Sets
We love a matching athletic set over here!! And by we, I mean me! ;o) There are matching athletic sets everywhere you turn this fall, and I am head over heels in love with this shade of green. This half-zip pullover is the pullover for fall, and these matching wide leg pants are perfection. The best part is that the sets are sold separately so you can purchase the tops and bottoms in different sizes.
Lace Hem Skirts
I wasn’t sure how I felt about the lace hem skirt trend at first, but this one redeemed the whole trend for me. This one is the perfect length, it doesn’t look like lingerie, and it gives all the fall vibes. I also love this one and this one.
Sheer
Tops
Sheer tops are everywhere this fall, and I think they’re pretty great because they scream fall while also being verrrryyyy thin in case you live in the south where it stays a million degrees until October. This one is darling, and we love a fancy sleeve!
Denim
Tops
I feel like you can never go wrong with a denim top and yet I have zero in my closet. I used to have a denim tank similar to this one and it was one of my favorite tops I ever owned. This top gives all the fall feels, but it’s obviously a tank top, which is perfect for hotter climates like we have here in Georgia. I love this one so much, too!
Classic
Button-Down Cardigans
I have always loved a cardigan, and I’m so excited to see that classic button-down cardigans are back this fall! This one is gorgeous and I love that rich chocolatey brown color. It also comes in a few other colors including a striped version, and I love that one, too.
Tall Boots
Tall boots (especially when paired with long skirts) are trending this fall, and that makes me happy because I wear tall boots every fall and winter. I love this cognac color, and I love the block heel. I always find a block heel so much more comfortable!
Midi
Skirts
I don’t personally love a midi skirt because they are not flattering on my frame and height, but I do love the way they look on others! This brown plaid midi skirt is so pretty and I love the raw hem!
Satchel
Handbags
This bag comes in four different colors, but the deep brown matches everything! This bag is sizeable so it is large enough to hold all the essential + so much more and the belt accent is *chef’s kiss*.
And
those are the trends to look for this fall, y’all!
Happy Wednesday!

ReplyDeleteI need to get back into wide leg jeans, I used to love them and was so angry when Skinny jeans were such a big thing. Those gold sneakers are fabulous and I remember sheer tops when they were a big thing here in the early 2000's.
Yeah, it took me forever to get into skinny jeans, too! I am loving the wide leg trend again, but I think my favorite trend was the straight leg, slightly cropped, raw hem trend that came between skinny and wide leg last year. I'm sad those didn't stay in style longer, but I'm still wearing mine anyway! And yes to the sheer tops!! They definitely had their moment in the early 2000s!
DeleteI've been looking at some of these trends! I just got a similar plaid midi skirt!
ReplyDeleteIt is so cute! I wish I could wear midi length stuff. For some reason I just don't love that length on myself. They always look so cute on others, though!
