Five on Friday - My Birthday Wish List

I love sharing my wish lists a couple of times per year so I can keep track of all the things I have my eye on, and since my birthday is right around the corner, I thought I’d share one today!

O N E – Home

Bearaby Cotton Weighted Blanket (Color – Cloud White, Weight – 10 lbs., Size – 40” x 64”) – I’ve wanted a weighted blanket for years. This one is pricey, but it’s top-notch quality and it has tons of excellent reviews. It would look beautiful on the foot of our bed, too.

Utensil Organizer, 5 Slots (Color – White) – We have a drawer full of random kitchen utensils that need to be better organized, and this beauty would be perfect in that space. It’s adjustable so I’ll be able to fit it to our drawer’s dimensions exactly.

Set of 6 Silicone Trivets (Color – Gray) – We have a set of silicone trivets that I LOVE, but they are red because that’s the color I used to use in my kitchen way back, and I’d like to make the switch to gray to match the rest of the kitchen aesthetic.

Stainless Steel Cocktail Picks (Color – Thread Silvery) – Since Brian and I have been making Manhattans as our signature drink, I’d love to have a set of cocktail picks that we can reuse for cherries and other garnishes.

Stanley Quencher 30 oz. Tumbler (Color – Peach Whip Cabana Gloss Pink) – My Stanley is starting to wear out in parts on the bottom, so I will need a new one sometime in the near future. This one came out last summer and I didn’t get one when I had the chance and I regret it because I want this one more than everrrr, but it’s discontinued. It still exists on third party sites, but it’s priced at double the original cost in most listings. I’m adding it to my wish list since I’d like to have one, but I’m not purchasing it at the current price. I’m hoping they’ll lose their value as most people have switched to the Owala tumblers in recent months, and if they don’t, I can always shoot my shot and make a lower offer on one!

Faux 4-Foot Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree – The artificial plant that we have in our kitchen is SOOOO OLD and it’s covered in dust and grime (I’ve tried cleaning it and it’s not happening), and I’ve been wanting replace it with a fiddle leaf fig anyway. Real ones need a ton of indirect sunlight, and it will not get that in the place where I’d like to put one, so an artificial one is going to be the way to go in this circumstance.

Flush Mount Ceiling Fixture (Color – Black, Size – Large) – We’re still slowly replacing old light fixtures in the house, and we still have a couple more spots with the old lights that need to be replaced. I still need two of these upstairs.

Glass Food Containers (Grey-J6S) x 2 packs – I’ve been wanting to replace our plastic storage containers with glass ones for years, and after years of hunting, I think I finally found the perfect ones. I would love to have two of this exact pack because they are around the sizes of the containers that we currently have. And they are easy to close unlike most glass containers with lids because they have that little leak-proof button. So many fantastic reviews on these!

Mirrorball (Size – 16 inch) – Yes, yes, I do want a giant mirror ball for my house. They are soooo expensive, though… that’s why I’ve never grabbed one! It’s still on my list, though! ;o)

1982 Sweatshirt (Color – Dark Heather, Size – Medium) – I saw this birth year sweatshirt when I was browsing Etsy, and I loveeee it. 1982 baby here!

T H R E E – Accessories

Rothy’s The Ballet Mary Jane (Color – Conch, Size – 8.5) – I am a huge fan of Rothy’s… I have two pairs and they still look brand new all these years later, so I’d like to add this neutral pair to my closet because they’ll go with everything. They’re on clearance, too!
