Hey, y’all! Happy Monday! Today I’m sharing our Amazon purchases from February, and again, they were pretty heavy because of Easter and product refills, and an upcoming Disney trip! Let’s get started.
Sally Hansen
Top Coat
I had to throw my old top coat out the last time I painted my nails because it was old and goopy, so I grabbed this Sally Hansen top coat. It’s super affordable and it has great reviews… most people say it truly dries within just a minute or two! I have no patience to wait on nail polish to dry, so I’m hoping I like it. It’s so much cheaper than the OPI version.
Acrylic Organizer
We just added an iPad to our collection of kids’ electronics, and we have a
charging station in the kitchen as the kids are not allowed to keep any of
their electronics in their rooms overnight.
I purchased a three-slot organizer just like this one to hold all the
things, but we ran out of room when Olivia got her iPad, so I decided to buy
this one with an extra slot, and I plan to use the three-slot organizer in my
closet. I’ve been wanting one in there
to hold my small clutches and bags.
Having an organizer like this has been amazing, because it keeps all the
electronics organized and right by the garage door where the kids load up for
school every morning.
Funny
Birthday Card
Mama Cass had a birthday last week – she’s 97!! – so I grabbed this card for her. Our family loves a funny card – and the tackier, the better – so I knew she’d love this one! ;o)
Magnetic
Speed Cube
Jacob has taken up speed-cubing, and he loves it so much that Olivia has decided that she wants to learn. She is constantly asking to use his now, so we got one for her Easter basket. ;o)
Tanning
Mitt
I’m trying to stay out of the sun even though I looooveeee laying in the sun, but I still want to have a tan during the summer, so I’m going to try to use a sunless tanner this summer for the first time in years. I’ve had occasional issues with streaks, so I bought this tanning mitt to apply it as so many people rave about them.
Smarty
Pants Women’s Multi-Vitamins
It was time for a refill of my daily multi-vitamins, so I threw these in my cart. They are a bit pricey, but they have everything that I need in them.
Easter
Candy
We have a family Easter egg hunt every year, so I bought this bag of candy to stuff eggs. Candy is SO expensive in the store, but this bag was a really good deal.
Sprayway
Glass Cleaner
I’ve been cleaning all the windows in the house, so we’re already getting low on glass cleaner. I grabbed this two-pack so I can keep one upstairs and one downstairs. It is truly the best glass cleaner I’ve ever used. It leaves zero streaks and it doesn’t run down the glass since it comes out as foam. It has a really clean, fresh scent, too!
Girls
Swimsuit
Olivia has had three of these cute suits, and she’s about to get a new one for summertime! These swimsuits are perfect… they have an array of sizes to get the perfect fit, they are age appropriate, and they are two pieces which makes going to the bathroom so much easier. We all know how awful it is to try to pull down a wet one-piece swimsuit to go to the bathroom and then put it back on, so Olivia and I are all about the two-piece suits. This one comes in tons of colors and patterns, and this pink lemon pattern is just the absolute cutest. They are priced awesome as well! And they wash and dry beautifully! Of all the swimsuit brands Olivia has had through the years, these seem to be the ones that hold up the best.
Seamless
Underwear
I have been wearing the Chantelle Seamless Hipster undies for years, and I’ve always loved them, but I do not love the price tag. They are regularly $22 per pair, although, I have only ever purchased them in the NSale when they’re much cheaper (although, still expensive). I decided to try to find a dupe on Amazon, and ladies, the Amazon undies I found are not only LOADS cheaper (five pair cost less than one pair of the Chantelle undies), but they are better. These Amazon undies are even thinner at the edges than the Chantelle undies and they do an even better job of looking “seamless” under leggings and jeans. For the most part, the Chantelle undies didn’t show under my clothes, but I have one pair of jeans that I wear that didn’t work well with the Chantelle undies. These Amazon undies look great under everything and they are soooo inexpensive. They are true-to-size (I bought them in small), but they are well-made and very stretchy. I cannot speak to the durability just yet as I’ve only washed and worn mine a couple of times, but I’ll try to remember to report back after I’ve been washing and wearing them for a bit.
Nintendo
Switch Apple Watch Band
I bought this Apple Watch band to put in Jacob’s Easter basket, but I’m still waiting on it to arrive, so the jury is out whether or not we’ll keep it. It has mixed reviews on the quality.
Women’s
Padded Tank
I bought this tank to try for our Disney trip since I’m planning to wear my favorite tennis skirts every day. This tank is highly rated, and it’s perfect because no bra is required as it has built-in cups. That was the whole reason I purchased it.
Women’s
Padded Tank #2
I liked the look of this women’s padded tank as well. The prices were comparable, so I bought this one to try as well. I’ll keep whichever one I like best!
More
Easter Candy
We always get Sour Patch Kids and Swedish Fish for the Easter egg hunt, so I purchased this bag on Amazon. I couldn’t believe how cheap they were!
Boys
Swimsuit
I purchased this swimsuit for Jacob for the summer. It has a built-in liner and an adjustable waistband, so hopefully it’ll work well.
Rash
Guard
Jacob always likes to wear a rash guard, and they get so stained every year from sunscreen, so we pretty much buy a new one every year. These have 50 UPF and they come in lots of colors.
Ferrero
Rochey Bunny Chocolates
This was a purchase for Easter baskets… I love these so much and I’m not sure the kids have ever tried them! Time to remedy that!
Pokemon
Cards Set
This was also a purchase for Easter baskets. It’s rare to find legit Pokemon products on Amazon, so I was happy to find this one, so I didn’t have to go hunt for something in a brick-and-mortar store (the shelves are pretty much always bare because they sell out so quickly).
Jergens
Instant Sun
This is the sunless tanner that I used to use way back, so I’m hoping it’s still as good as it was when I used it before. It’s highly rated and it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg like so many sunless tanners do, so hopefully I’ll be pleased with the outcome. Fingers crossed.
Stuffed
Animal Eyes
Olivia is crocheting her own little stuffies now without The Woobles kits, so we bought this pack of plastic eyes and noses for her to add to her creations. This kit is awesome. It came with so many different sizes and shapes divided in a little organizer, and it was cheap!
Crest
Professional Whitening Strips
I grabbed a box of Crest Professional Effects whitening strips, and I cannot believe how well they worked… and fast. The strips are easy to use, they stick to your teeth VERY well (unlike the Lumineux strips… those were super slimy), they didn’t leave a bunch of goo on my teeth like the Lumineux strips, and they didn’t have a strong taste either. The entire system takes 22 days, but I could honestly tell a difference after day one. And the difference between day one and day five was huge! I’m currently still in the middle of the process, and I did have to take a couple of days off here and there because they do make my sensitive teeth feel more sensitive, but once I complete the entire process, I’ll be sure to report back with another before and after. I’m excited to see the transformation! If you want to see the transformation from day one to day five, I shared it in this post.
Sensodyne
Toothpaste
And speaking of teeth sensitivity, this toothpaste is a must if you experience issues like I do. I have used this toothpaste on and off for decades, and I made sure to stock up since I’m doing my teeth whitening process right now. It really does help with sensitivity issues.
