What I Ordered from Amazon in February 2024

February was a verrrry girly month for Amazon purchases.  Olivia’s birthday was on the 25th, so we bought aaaallll the things for her Taylor Swift Eras slumber party + gifts for her, and that will be the majority of this post.  Ready for the good stuff?

Taylor Swift Birthday Cake Topper

I bought this topper to put at the top of Olivia’s donut tower for her slumber party, and it ended up being perfect!  It’s large and well made, and it has actual glitter on it, so it was definitely a great purchase.

It’s Me, Hi… Birthday Banner

I bought this birthday banner to hang over the mantle for her slumber party, and it also turned out to be perfect.  It’s also large, and it took up the majority of the space in front of the fireplace.  It’s lightweight, so it was easy to tape to the top of the mantle, and the letters are so cute and glittery.  You cannot beat the price either!  And it comes in lots of different colors.

Backdrop

I bought this backdrop thinking I’d make a cute little picture-taking area, and then when I got it, I realized I didn’t have a good place to hang it.  The quality of this is good, but unless you have a solid white background, it won’t work as it’s pretty thin and you can see the wall behind it.  I ended up returning it but would have totally used it if we’d had a big white wall somewhere.

Mirror Ball Cupcake Toppers

This was another purchase to fancy up Olivia’s donut tower.  Since she didn’t want a cake, I knew I wanted to buy a couple of things to add to the donuts to make them look cute, and y’all, these mirror ball picks did NOT disappoint.  They are SO cute, they are the real mirror balls with the actual individual pieces of reflective glass (not the cheap ones that are just solid silver and bent to look like a mirror ball), and they’re reuseable, so you can bet I’ll be using these again.  And you get a ton of them for such a great price!

Mirror Ball Paper Plates

This was another purchase for Olivia’s party, and oh my word, are they adorable!  They’re metallic so they look fantastic.  They came in a bundle of two sizes, which was perfect, because we had dinner plates as well as dessert plates.  The price has increased dramatically since I bought them, though.  FYI.

Mirror Ball Napkins

Another purchase for Olivia’s birthday party, these mirror ball napkins were a hit!  They also have a metallic design making them so fancy, and the girls just loved them.  They came in a pack of 100, so I ended up using some of the leftovers for Olivia’s class party.  And we still have many left that I can use to dress up our bar cart.

Taylor Swift Mini Plastic Zipper Bag

I bought five of these bags for party favors.  Each girl got to take home one of these bags, 13 Taylor Swift stickers (because 13 is Taylor’s favorite number – IYKYK), a pack of Sour Patch Kids watermelons (because sour watermelon candy is Taylor’s favorite), and a mirror ball (purchased from Walmart).  The girls went NUTS over these bags… they really are super cute!  AND – they come with Taylor Swift stickers, which I didn’t even realize until we received them!

Taylor Swift Stickers

I bought these to put in the girls’ bags before I realized that the bags came with stickers, but since these were only $5.99, I just let Olivia and the girls keep them.  There was a great assortment, and Olivia was really excited because she got many new ones that she didn’t already have.

Taylor Swift CD

I purchased Taylor Swift’s first album on CD for Olivia as a birthday gift since this is one that she didn’t have.

Taylor Swift Folklore CD

Olivia didn’t have Folklore either, so I bought this one for her, too.  It’s the clean version.  ;o)

Taylor Swift Evermore CD

Olivia didn’t have this one either, so I purchased the clean version of this one, too.

Taylor Swift Red Taylor’s Version CD

And finally, I bought this as part of Olivia’s birthday gift because she didn’t have this one either.  She is happy to say that she now has every single Taylor Swift album on CD, and she hasn’t wasted any time opening those CD books and learning the lyrics to all the songs… just like I used to do when I was little.  :o)

White Cowgirl Boots

These were a purchase for the Daddy Daughter dance for Olivia.  The theme was denim and diamonds, and she wore these with her black “Reputation” dress and a denim jacket.  Y’all, Olivia is the pickiest child about clothing and footwear and it’s nearly impossible to find any footwear that she will wear besides tennis shoes.  These boots are SO COMFORTABLE.  They are so well-made, and they are just darling.  I had assumed Olivia would wear these once for the dance and then never wear them again, but she has already worn them multiple times in the couple of weeks that she’s had them.  I highly recommend these for quality, comfort, and price!  And they come in different colors!

Taylor Swift Wig

Olivia got some birthday money, and she asked if she could buy a Taylor Swift wig.  Lol.  Well, Amazon for the win, y’all!  This wig was less than $25, and I kid you not, the quality is OUTSTANDING.  When we placed the order, I explained to Olivia that most wigs end up looking totally different than the picture, and they’re usually not great-looking.  When this one arrived in the mail, I could not believe how nice it was.  It looks identical to the picture, and it came with two caps to hold your regular hair in place underneath.  This is a high-quality wig for a great price!

Candy Friendship Bracelets

Olivia handed out Taylor Swift themed Valentines this year, so we bought this tub of candy friendship bracelets to go with the valentines.  The kids love them!  They already ate all of the leftovers.

Origami

Jacob has been obsessed with origami, so he used his own money to purchase this pack of origami paper.  The paper is the perfect size for all of his creations and the patterns are so lovely.

Leggings Organizer

I purchased this leggings organizer, and I can’t wait to get it set up!!  I have so many pairs of leggings – some of which are for working out, some are for leisure, and some are for dressing up (Spanx faux leather) – and sometimes it’s hard to see which ones are which when I’m reaching for them in my basket.  I’m excited to have this one with clear pockets so I can find what I’m looking for easily.

Amazon Basics Highlighters

These are my favorite highlighters for highlighting text in books, especially my The Bible Recap book, and I was in need of a refill!  The colors are so vibrant!

The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel

I bought this book at the recommendation of a friend.  It was written by Lee Strobel, a Yale Law School graduate and self-proclaimed atheist.  Years ago, after his wife decided to become a Christian, he decided to launch an investigation to find all of the credible evidence that Jesus Christ existed and that He is the Son of God.  Based on everything that he learned, he ended up becoming a Christian as well, and this book documents his entire journey.  I just started it and I’m a couple of chapters in, and so far, it is fascinating.  It’s highly rated on Amazon with 4.8 / 5 stars, and nearly 12,000 reviews.  They even turned it into a movie, which I’ll be watching once I finish the book.  I can’t wait to dig into this more, and I’ll be sure to share my thoughts after I’m done.

Just Walk Across the Room by Bill Hybels

This was another purchase recommended by a friend, and I just recently finished it.  This book discusses the importance of stepping outside of your comfort circles and reaching out to others to connect, and it provides simple steps you can take to point others to faith.  God designed humans to commune and connect with each other, and I love how this book talks about the importance of developing real, lasting friendships, genuinely learning to get to know others, and sharing our own personal journeys of faith with others.

Smarty Pants Women’s Multi & Omega Vitamins

Y’all, after several years of taking my beloved Smarty Pants women’s multi-vitamins in capsule form, they recently discontinued them and replaced them with this gummy version.  Sigh.  Prior to this, I was able to take this exact product in one capsule a day, and now I have to take six gummies a day.  Whyyyy?!  I’m an adult, y’all, and I have no trouble swallowing a pill.  Why all of these vitamin companies are moving all of their vitamins to gummy form, I will never understand.  While I love a good gummy candy every now and then, I do not want to eat 40 calories worth of gummies first thing in the morning.  Sigh.  The capsules never made me feel yucky, but the gummies haven’t been sitting well in my stomach at all, even though I’ve been taking them with food and a truckload of water.  This will be the one and only bottle I get of these, and I’m sad to say that after 4-5 years of using this brand, I’m moving to another brand after this bottle is gone.

Rainbow Light Women’s Multi-Vitamins

After extensive research, I decided to try these Rainbow Light Women’s Multi-Vitamins next.  I looked at, probably, 25-30 different kinds of multi-vitamins, and none of them had everything I was looking for.  They were either lacking whole vitamins and minerals altogether, or the levels of the vitamins and minerals weren’t up to the levels that I was used to taking.  These Rainbow Light vitamins are the only ones that contain every single vitamin and mineral that the Smarty Pants vitamins had (except Omega-3… more on that later), and they also have the same levels.  As a matter of fact, these Rainbow Light vitamins have even higher levels of some of the vitamins and minerals than my old vitamins, and they contain a blend of rainbow superfoods + a few other vitamins/minerals that my old vitamins didn’t have including ashwagandha, which I’ve been wanting to incorporate into my diet.  These vitamins are vegetarian, gluten, wheat, milk, tree nuts, peanuts, soy, eggs, fish, and shellfish-free, and they are non-GMO project verified.  So, they are CLEAN!  They are also manufactured right here in the United States which I love.  As I mentioned earlier, they do not contain Omega-3, but I plan to take that in a separate capsule.  These vitamins are so affordable that when I pair them with a separate Omega-3 capsule, they’ll still come out cheaper than my old Smarty Pants vitamins.  It’s a win-win!  I’ll have to report back once I’ve been taking them for a while.  I’m hoping they sit in my stomach well like my others did.

Turmeric

I started taking turmeric months ago, and they have had a profound effect on my body.  You can read more about that here if you missed it.  It was time for a refill, so I bought it on Amazon as they always have the best price.

Neutrogena Powder

This is the powder I wear daily, and it was time for a refill, so I bought it on Amazon since they had the best price.

O-Keefe’s Working Hands Moisturizer

This is, by far, the best moisturizer I’ve ever used.  I started using it a couple of months ago, and my hands look like different hands.  Where they used to look constantly dry and wrinkly, they are now much smoother and softer.  I am using this lotion the same amount that I used all other lotions, but none of the others ever made my hands look this good.  I love this cream so much that I’m considering making it my primary cream for my entire body.  It’s not greasy at all, it doesn’t leave any residue, and it doesn’t have a scent at all.  I. love. it.

Happy Monday, y’all!

  4. I don't get the gummy vitamins either! Other than the elderberry I take in the winter I refuse to use gummy vitamins.

    1. Same! They are horrible! I'm so glad I'm almost done with this bottle so I can start some regular vitamins again.

  5. I'm not a Swiftie by any stretch but I had her first album back in 2006. When I tell my little 8 year old students I had her first album, bought from the store (probably Walmart), I don't think they believe me.
Seems like a super fun birthday!
