Happy Friday, y’all! We had a little bit of a cool down this week,
and even though the weather is still a bit too hot for fall, I’m grateful that
we’re no longer in the 90s every day. It
has been invigorating having the cooler temps in the 80s and I’m really excited
for the weekend because it’s supposed to dip down into the 50s tonight!!!! YES, PLEASE!
We have a really fun weekend coming up – we’re heading to Athens for our first Georgia football game of the season – and we’re excited to tailgate and hang with friends and cheer on our Dawgs tomorrow!
But first, some favorites!
O N E – Joggers
I bought these joggers a few weeks ago while they were on sale, but it’s been too hot to wear them… until this week! Wednesday, I finally busted them out and I love them so much that I want them in every color! These are butter soft, the quality is top-notch, and they are incredibly comfortable. They come in four colors, they have pockets (!!!!), they have a functional drawstring, and I’m going to be wearing them on repeat all fall and winter. They run just slightly on the larger side, so I sized down to an XS, but I could have easily worn a small for a slightly roomier fit. And this shade of green? Gorgeous. This half zip pullover will be the perfect accompaniment when it gets colder, too.
I’ve been raving about this brand ever since I started using their leggings a few years ago, and their products continue to be superior in every way, including the price.
T W O – Halloween PJ
Pants
I’m so dang excited about these Halloween PJ pants, y’all! I’ve always wanted a festive pair of PJ pants for Halloween, and I’m so happy to finally have some! These are soft, they have a functional drawstring, they have pockets (I’ll never not be thrilled about this!), and I’ll be wearing them on repeat until the end of October when I can finally make the switch to my Christmas PJs. ;o) I paired mine with this sweatshirt that I've had for years.
T H R E E – Heated / Chilled
Neck and Shoulder Wrap
I’ve mentioned this wrap on the blog before as I’ve had mine for years, but it’s been fresh in my mind all week since I’ve been using it most evenings. This neck and shoulder wrap can be warmed in the microwave or chilled in the freezer and then used to melt away tension and pain. It’s perfectly shaped to drape around your shoulders and neck so you don’t even have to hold it in place, and you can sit, stand, and even walk while using it. And honestly, you can use it anywhere… not just on your neck and shoulders!
As most of you know, I struggle daily with neck, shoulder, and upper back tension, and this baby just melts the tension away. It’s been awesome for my tension, pain, headaches, migraines, and so many other things. And during the winter, I love to warm it and place it at the foot of the bed while I’m brushing my teeth, so by the time I crawl into bed, I have a warm and cozy little burrow to curl up in and go to sleep. Simple luxuries!
F O U R – Batteries
I don’t know if I’ve ever mentioned this here on the blog, but I thought all of you should know that Amazon has their own line of batteries, and they are worlds cheaper than other brands while also offering the same quality as the top-of-the-line brands. They’re the only batteries we buy now! The holidays are just around the corner, so it’s time to stock up!
F I V E – Taylor’s New
Music
I haven’t heard any of the songs yet as I’m typing this on Wednesday, but I already know it’s going to be one of my favorites this week! Taylor is dropping four new tracks on an extended edition of The Life of a Showgirl today and I’m soooo excited about it!!!! She’s been dropping Easter eggs here and there, so we all knew something was coming, but I didn’t think we’d be getting new music so soon! What a fun surprise! It’s so much fun being a Swiftie. <3
