I know Fridays are always for Five on Friday posts here on the blog, but we traveled so much this summer (some of it unexpectedly), that there aren’t enough days in the week to recap all our trips, so I’m using today to recap our Nashville trip by the numbers.
We slid in a quick trip to Nashville in between bigger trips in June (this trip was planned), and we had the best time in Music City! Here are some of the details by the numbers…
3 – Days we
were on our trip
2 – Nights we stayed in the hotel
1 – Blog friend turned real life friend that I got to spend time with in person (for the second time)!!
9 – Murals we took photos in front of
1 – Mural that was gone and we were shocked (they painted over the iconic Nashville mural in 12South!) :o(
1 – Time we had
a scare with Olivia possibly getting into some Virgina creeper (my MIL is
severely allergic to it and she always breaks out like you would if you touch
poison ivy so I was so worried Olivia was going to have it all over her arm and
face)
4 – Times I made her scrub her hands and face with hand wipes / hand soap / water to make sure there was nothing lingering on her skin
1 – Time our GPS took us a terrible way when we were walking… it ended up putting us down on a major highway (walking!!) with no sidewalks. Yes, we had to turn around, and yes, we had already gone a LONG way.
0.5 – Miles that our hotel was from the stadium for the Ed Sheeran concert we attended (we were able to walk!)
16th – Row that we were in for the concert… it was AMAZING.
3 – Opening performers Ed Sheeran had before his show (Aaron Rowe, Amble, and Myles Smith)
1 – Opening performance that we purposely missed because we didn’t want to get to the venue while the sun was still overhead (Aaron Rowe). It was HOT.
1 – Opening performance that I was just as excited about as seeing Ed (Myles Smith)
30 – Songs Ed Sheeran performed
1 – Surprise musical guest that he brought out to sing with him (Dan + Shay)
5:30 – Time that the concert started… SO early
5.5 – Hours that the entire concert experience was from start to finish
3 – Hours that Ed Sheeran played
6 – Adult beverages consumed on the whole trip
2 – Cocktails we had that tasted like Nyquil… they were the worst cocktails ever. Haha.
7 – Ice creams consumed
15 – Donuts consumed
1 – Kolash consumed (I had never had one before and it was good!)
137 – Pictures taken on the trip with my iPhone (after I deleted all of the bad ones)
48 – Videos taken on the trip with my iPhone (after I deleted all of the bad ones)
As always, I’ll be recapping our whole trip, so stay tuned!
Happy Friday, y’all!
