Happy Monday, y’all! I had a semi-heavy Amazon load this past month due to the sale, and today I’m going to share all my finds!
Acrylic Book
Stand
As most of you know, I’ve been trying to be very aware of maintaining the correct posture since I’ve been experiencing all my neck issues, so reading has been a bit of a challenge in recent months. I read my Bible multiple times per week (as well as hardcover novels that can sometimes be large), and my neck always gets very strained if it’s bent over for too long. I purchased this acrylic book holder while it was on super sale on Prime Day and I am incredibly pleased with it. It’s very sturdy (it holds my large Bible beautifully and doesn’t topple over even when the majority of the pages are turned to one side), the height and slant are both adjustable, and it rotates 360 degrees. It also has elastic page clips to hold pages in place for books that don’t lay flat. It’s beautiful, it doesn’t take up a lot of room on my desk, and it’s actually a very elegant and functional addition to my office. I cannot tell you how much I love this thing and I’m kicking myself for waiting so long to get one.
Spa Towel Wrap
I wear a spa towel wrap every single day while I get ready, and mine was 16
years old, ratty, stained from makeup, and so stretched out that I have been having
to clip it with a hair clip for years to keep it in place, so I was long
overdue for another one. I bought this
one during the Prime Day sale and I love it!
It’s super soft, the Velcro strip is long so you can get the exact fit
that you need, and it even has a little pocket.
I don’t know why I waited so long to get a new one because it has been
such a treat to have something that fits properly again.
Glass
Food Containers
I received a pack of these glass storage containers for my birthday, and I love them so much that I bought another pack during the Prime Day sale. These containers are glass with glass and silicone lids. They are microwave safe (with lids on or off) and dishwasher safe and they are 100% plastic free and leak-proof due to the air vent on the top of the lid. The lids are super easy to put on and remove… all you have to do is push the air vent closed to completely seal them. Then, just open the air vent for easy removal. These are made in the USA, too, and they come in tons of shapes and sizes. I love them so much.
Gold
Bracelets
I loved my other set of gold bracelets so much that I bought one more to have some different options to mix and match, and guys, I love this set!! The bracelet with the initial charm is my favorite! These are so affordable, too, and my first set is holding up beautifully so far.
Electric
Toothbrush Replacement Heads
The kids both have electric toothbrushes, but the replacement heads are insanely expensive, so I grabbed this set of generic replacement heads in the sale, and I’m hoping that they work as well as the reviews say. These work with the Phillips Sonicare electric toothbrushes, and many of the reviews say that these are even better than the branded ones.
Bulldog
Ice Cube Molds
I made Brian a little basket of lots of little things for Father’s Day and included were these cute little bulldog ice cube molds. I just couldn’t resist them! They’re made by the same brand who did our round ice cube molds, and we have already tested them out, and they do, indeed, make a perfectly shaped bulldog. They are SO CUTE. The only downside is that when liquid completely covers the heads, they float face down. Hahahaha. But they do stand up in the smaller drinks.
Glasses
Cases
Olivia’s glasses case always sets off metal detectors at events (and Disney World) causing us to have to be searched, so I purchased these soft cases in the sale. It turns out that they both have a tiny piece of metal at the top, though, so I’m going to have to return them and find something else. Boooo.
Maxi
Skirt
I love my colorful maxi skirt so much that I wanted to get one more in a different pattern. I waited for them to go on sale on Prime Day, and I purchased this one. Unfortunately, the sizing is slightly different on this one, though, and the length hits at several inches above my feet, whereas my colorful one grazes the tops of my feet, so I’m returning it simply because the length wasn’t exactly what I was going for.
Citrus
Garnish Tool
This channel knife was another item that I purchased for Brian’s Father’s Day basket. We are known to make old fashioneds and other cocktails (Brian enjoys a paper plane from time to time), so this is the perfect tool to have on hand to get those fancy citrus garnishes for the glass.
Amazon
Gift Card
This was a gift for my dad for Father’s Day. He is an artist and gets some of his art supplies from Amazon, so an Amazon gift card always makes a good gift for him since he’s constantly using paint and other supplies. I just love all the creative options they have for the gift cards, too. This one looks just like a leather wallet.
Bucket
Hat
I bought this hat to wear at the pool and the beach. While I love a baseball cap, they do not stay on my head when it’s windy on the beach (which is often), so I purchased this bucket hat for next time. It sits low on my head, and it appears that it should withstand any wind on the beach since it’s so snug and secure. It was only $6, too, so I figured, why not?
Two-Piece
Set
I purchased this on day one of Amazon Prime Day and it was delivered the next day, so I was able to wash it and wear it on our trip to Colorado. It is the PERFECT plane outfit. It’s comfy, it’s stylish, the pants have pockets (which was perfect for keeping my phone close in the airport), and it’s just the right weight to keep you from being too chilly or overly hot. I wore this on the flight home, and it was the comfiest thing.
Happy Monday, y’all!
