Five on Friday - September Goals

Today I’m recapping my August goals and listing my September goals.  As always, I’m using a Y for YES and N for NO to indicate whether or not I accomplished my goals.

August Goals

Relationships

N  Go on a date with B. – we had Covid and various other sickness in our house for literally the first 24 days of the month, and the last week was too busy to make time for a date night, so this definitely didn’t happen.

Y  Go to dinner with my girls.

N  Go to lunch with a friend. – I never scheduled this because of B having Covid.  Gonna have to try again next month!

Personal/Health/Wellness/Fitness/Beauty

Y  Meditate, quiet time, and affirmations every day.

Y  Drink 64 oz. water most days.

Y  Close all rings on my Apple Watch 18 days. – I closed them 20 times!

Y  Do arms workout at least 3-4 times per week. – I did 8 arms workouts this month, but most times that I did them, I doubled or tripled the workout, so I ended up doing my arms YouTube workout 17 times!

Y  Try to do yoga at least once a week.

Y  Visit with my therapist.

Y  Visit with my allergist.

X  Donate blood.Unfortunately, Red Cross won’t let you donate blood if you’ve lived in the same house with anyone with Covid for the past 28 days, so I had to remove this from the to-do list.

Y  Clean makeup brushes.

Family/Fun

Y  Have a family home videos viewing night.

Y  Attend Meet the Teacher Day at school.

Y  Attend middle school orientation.

Y  Attend Lauren and Zack’s wedding in Atlanta!!

Y  Send the kiddos back to school!

Y  Attend parent night for Olivia’s class.

Y  Olivia start dance classes.

Y  Attend the Back to School Social.

X  Olivia tryout for Christmas recital. – After seeing the practice schedule for this, we realized that we wouldn’t be able to fit it in our schedule, and Olivia didn’t want to take classes every weekend, so we removed this from the to-do list, too.

Y  Take Jacob for his annual well visit.

Y  Get pumpkin spice donuts from Krispy Kreme!

Home/Organization/Planning

Y  Hang UGA flag for football season and take down American flag.

Y  List side table on other websites to sell and if it doesn’t sell, donate it.

N  Drop old stuff at donation center.

Y  Clean out closet in Brian’s office, take 5.

Y  Start decorating the house for fall.

Y  Organize all Poshmark clothes and list some more items.

N  Redo 2021 One Second a Day video with Windows Video Editor.

N  Complete 1 task on Master To Do List.

Blog/Social Media

Y  Plan editorial content for Q4.

Y  Continue blogging 3 times per week, and go back to 4 times per week in September.
