What I Ordered from Amazon in July 2023

*This post contains affiliate links.  As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

July was another heavy month for Amazon orders because we had many refills that needed to be ordered, we had to order all of Olivia’s dance items for her new dance season, we ordered items for Jacob’s birthday, aaaand Amazon Prime Day(s) fell in July, too, so I bought a couple of things we’ve been needing plus I started Christmas shopping a little bit.  Whew.  Let’s see all of the goods!

Ryan & Rose Cross Bracelets

These cross bracelets popped up in my recommendations, and I couldn’t grab them fast enough.  I wear bracelets every day and I change them out frequently, and I love this silicone option SO much.  I can work out in them, shower in them, and they’re pretty much indestructible.  They’re so pretty, too.  They come in packs of five and they come in lots of different colors, and this pastel pack was just perfect for me.  I went with the XS size, too, because I have small wrists.  There is a sizing chart to make it easy to choose what size to order, and it’s very accurate.  My bracelets are the perfect size… they hug my wrist just a little so they don’t turn around on my arm, but they aren’t too tight.  They’re just right.  I love them so much.

Ruffled Strap Tank

This was an Amazon Prime Day purchase, and I couldn’t love it more.  I have several of those fluttery Amazon skirts, and I’ve been wanting a tank other than black or white to wear with them.  These tanks are super cute, they’re great quality for the price, and they come in lots of colors.  They are perfect for the Amazon skirts and my high-waisted Spanx jeans that I love so much.

Floral Smocked Top

This was another Prime Day purchase.  I bought the short-sleeve version earlier this summer, and I love it so much that I wanted to have a long-sleeve version for winter.  It was soooo cheap on Prime Day, too!

Victoria’s Secret Strapless Bra

I’ve been in desperate need of a strapless bra for months.  I tried a couple from Target and didn’t like them, and I tried the ever popular Wacoal bra from Nordstrom in the NSale, but unfortunately, they don’t make them for small-chested girls like myself, so the smallest size they had was too big.  I ended up ordering two from Amazon to try and this Victoria’s Secret bra was the winner by far!  I love this bra SO much.  It fits like a glove, it doesn’t slide down even when I move around a lot, it’s comfortable, and the quality is top-notch.  I wore nothing but Victoria’s Secret bras for nearly two decades, so I should have known to check them out first!

Strapless Bra #2

This was the other option I purchased from Amazon to try, and I actually really liked this one, but I liked the Victoria’s Secret bra better.  This is a great option if you’re looking for something less expensive, though!

Workout Tank

These are my all-time favorite workout tanks and I’ve talked about them numerous times on the blog.  They did go on sale on Prime Day, so I grabbed two more… one in black, and another white one since white is my favorite color to wear since it matches everything.  These tops are AWESOME, though.  They wick away sweat, they’re comfortable, they’re cool, and they have built-in shelf bras with light padding, so you don’t have to wear a sports bra with them.  They’re very supportive (keep in mind I’m small-chested, so I can’t speak for larger-chested ladies!), and they’re soooo cute!  They hit at just the right spot on my waist, and the criss-cross back adds a little something special!  I cannot recommend these enough!  They’re all I wear with my running shorts now.

Neck and Shoulder Heating Pad

The doctors think my vertigo is being caused by some cervical neck issues, so I bought this heating pad to use when my neck starts feeling tense.  Turns out, I already had this exact one that I don’t ever remember buying, so I sent this one back.  Lol.  It is wonderful, though!!  You just heat it up in the microwave for three minutes, and then it provides steady moist heat for around 30 minutes.  It has helped tremendously with my neck muscle stiffness, so I don’t think I’ve been this grateful for a product in a long time.

The Idea of You

I have seen so many people talking about this book lately, and most of the people I’ve seen talking about it have said that it’s in their top five or top ten favorite books of all-time.  Wow.  I immediately went to put it on hold in my library app, but sadly, our library system doesn’t have it.  Since it was so inexpensive, I just decided to buy it.  I haven’t read it yet, but I’ll let y’all know what I think after I read it.  I have a few books in line ahead of it.

WWJD Bracelet

I made a beaded WWJD bracelet a few months ago and I’ve worn it every single day since then.  It made me think about the one that I wore every day in middle school, and I had hoped to find that one and wear that one sometimes, too, but I wasn’t able to find it.  I know I kept it, though!!  One day, this one showed up in my recs so I grabbed it, too.  It looks exactly like my old one, just in a different color.  The one I wore in middle school was hunter green.  :o)

Convertible Tights

These are our favorite tights for Olivia for dance.  She can wear them regularly for ballet, tap, and jazz, and then she is able to put her feet through the holes and pull them up on her ankles for her lyrical class.  The tights are thick and stretchy and comfy (believe me, Olivia hates anything too binding), and they hold up so well.  She’s always pretty rough on everything, and these hold up for months without getting holes or runs.

Ballet Shoes

These are the ballet shoes that we’ve bought for Olivia for the last three years.  They’re real leather, they’re excellent quality, Olivia says they’re comfortable, and they cinch up really well so we can buy them slightly large with some growing room.  Each pair has held up beautifully, and they last for an entire year of dance.

Jazz Shoes

These are the jazz shoes that we’ve bought for Olivia for the past few years.  They’re also real leather and they’re excellent quality.  She says they’re comfortable as well, and again, these last an entire year for her.

Sheets

Brian and I bought these sheets six years ago, and we loved them so much that we decided to buy them again since our old pair was starting to wear out.  These are the softest sheets, and they hold up so well over time, but they’re shockingly inexpensive.  They have over 126,000 reviews on Amazon with 4.6 / 5 stars, so apparently, we’re not the only ones who love them.  ;o)

Light-Up Makeup Mirror

Olivia requested a makeup mirror for her next recital, so I went ahead and purchased this one in the Prime Day sale.  It has great reviews so, fingers crossed, hopefully we will love it, too.

Eye Shadow Palette

This is the eye shadow pallet that I’ve been using for almost a year, and it was time for a refill, so I purchased a few of them.

Jesus Listens

The kids have been reading the same daily devotional for several years now, so I wanted to find something new for them.  Sarah Young is one of our favorites, so I grabbed her newest devotional for kids, and we’ve been loving it.

Rainbow Loom

This was a purchase for a birthday party for one of Olivia’s friends, and I also bought one for Olivia for Christmas since they were on sale for Prime Day.

Minute to Win It Games

This was a purchase for Jacob's birthday and the kids have been having so much fun with it!  It's been coming in clutch since we haven't been able to leave the house from my vertigo.

Glow-in-the-Dark Basketball

I’ve seen many people mention this glow-in-the-dark basketball and how awesome it is, so I bought it in the Prime Day sale for Jacob for Christmas.

The Lemonade Crime

Olivia had just started reading this book from the library for her summer reading when another person put it on hold, so she wasn’t able to finish it before we had to return it.  Instead, I just bought it, and we’ll donate it to the school when we’re done with it.

Neutrogena Hydroboost Hydrating Cleansing Gel

This is my favorite face wash to remove makeup and I use it every single day.  It smells amazing, it’s gentle on my skin, and it leaves my skin feeling clean without drying it out.  It was time for a refill, and Amazon had it for the best price.

Flonase Sensimist

I use this every day for my allergies, and it was time for a refill, so I bought it from Amazon as I always do.  They always have the best price by far.

Nature Made Kids Multi-Vitamin with Omega-3

The kids needed a refill on their daily multi-vitamins, so I bought them from Amazon, because, again, they had the best price.

Xyzal

I take this every day for my allergies as well, and it was time for a refill!

Smarty Pants Daily Multi-Vitamins

I take these every day as well and it was time for a refill.  These are my favorite multi-vitamins ever!

Happy Monday!

  3. I need to check out that Idea of You book! I haven't heard of it. I just started taking Flonase daily for my allergies and it has helped SO much! It is so fun to get all the new dance tights, shoes... Autumn is not doing competitive dance at her dance school anymore (she was there since preschool!), because she's going to be so busy on the dance team at her high school. She could have prob done both, but we made the hard decision to pick the one she wanted to do the most. I am going to miss her tap dance days!! However, I am excited for football games this fall!! I hope your vertigo is continuing to do better!
