What I Ordered from Amazon in September 2021

Happy Monday, y’all!  Today I’m sharing my Amazon purchases in the month of September.

Waffle Peplum Top

I used a gift card to buy this top, and I love it!  It’s lightweight, so it’s perfect for this time of year when it’s chilly, it’s soooo soft, and the color is beautiful… although, it does come in many other color selections if you don’t love this one.  It is a little bit on the thin side, so I’d recommend wearing a tank underneath, but you could probably get away with not wearing one under it if you didn’t want to.  It was on a lightning deal when I got it, so I barely had to pay anything out of pocket, and I just love it!  It’s easy and comfortable to throw on, but it also looks a little fancier than a t-shirt.

Red and White Striped Dress

We’ve been having a hard time finding any cute Georgia dresses for Olivia lately.  There are tons in toddler sizes, but it’s rare to find cute ones in little girl sizes.  I bought this red and white striped dress on Amazon, and I’m going to get a Georgia G patch to iron on the dress to make our own.  The dress is lightweight but substantial, and the little ruffle at the bottom is adorable.

Gilbert the Ghost

I’ve had this book on my wish list for the kids for probably four or five years, and it’s been sold out everywhere online.  Amazon finally has it back in stock so I grabbed a copy to give to Olivia for Halloween.

Weird but True Halloween

The kids checked out one of these Weird but True books from the library this summer, and they loved it so much!  I bought the Halloween version to give to Jacob for Halloween.

Lego Frankenstein

I also bought two of these Lego Brickheadz Frankensteins, one for each kid.  We always do a festive Halloween dinner, and we give each of them a book and a tiny Halloween themed toy, and I thought these Frankensteins were adorable!

Lego Minifigure 1,000-Piece Puzzle

I randomly came across this puzzle and I couldn’t resist it!  We love doing puzzles and I thought the kids would love this one.  I haven’t decided whether to wait and give it to them for Christmas, or to go ahead and give it to them now.

Oximeter

I have had asthma since 2006 so I’m no stranger to breathing troubles.  In addition to that, both of our kids have gone through bad bouts of croup in the past, which also caused them to experience breathing issues.  I’ve always wanted an oximeter (it measures oxygen levels) for times like those, and since Covid is everywhere here right now, I figured I’d go ahead and buy one to have on hand, just in case one of us comes down with it.  The oximeter was only $19.99, so I figured it wouldn’t hurt to spend $20 to have it on hand for peace of mind.  This one has 149,282 reviews (maybe the most I’ve ever seen!) and 4.7 / 5 stars, and it’s super quick and easy to use.  I’ve already tested ours out on several occasions and it works well!  Just make sure you read the instructions carefully to ensure you’re getting the most accurate measurement.

Upspring Stomach Settle Drops

I have a lot of random nausea here and there, so I bought these drops that Tanya mentioned to keep on hand for those times.  When I pair one of these with my favorite Young Living Digize oil, it helps nip the nausea in the bud.

Birthday Card

I like to keep greeting cards on hand just in case.  My birthday stash was low, so I bought this one to keep on hand.

Birthday Card

This was another greeting card purchase to replenish my stash.

Friends Birthday Card

Aaaand another.  And this one is my favorite because it has my favorite people on the front!  And it’s funny.

Amazon Gift Card

I purchased an Amazon gift card for my littlest brother as his birthday was last week.  Amazon ships their gift cards for free in just one business day, and they come in a variety of fun packaging.

The Wish by Nicholas Sparks

Nicholas Sparks just released this new book last week, so I grabbed a copy of the hardcover version while it was on sale.  Yes, his books are all fairly predictable, and yes, many of them are also similar, but I’ve been reading his books since I was a teenager and I just can’t quit him!  I’ll have to report back after I read it.Happy Monday, y’all!

And if you want to see everything that I ordered in previous months, just check out the posts below!

  2. So many good finds. Love the peplum hem top. The Lego Frankenstein is the best. My oldest son went to the Chicago Lego store this weekend and bought the Ford Raptor.

  6. I'm waiting for that new Sparks book through my library! I also ordered that peplum top; it looks like it would be perfect for fall hiking with some leggings. I bought that same oximeter when my husband had Covid; we never ended up using it but I thought it was money well spent for a bit of peace of mind as well.

  7. I really like that waffle top. I'm one of the few people who's not a fan of Nicholas Sparks. I like sending cards to friends and family too.

    1. I can totally understand not being a fan of his. All of his books are very similar in nature, and sometimes they're a bit repetitive, but I just can't quit him!
