Five on Friday - December Goals

Today I’m recapping my November goals and listing my December goals.  As always, I’m using a Y for YES and N for NO to indicate whether or not I accomplished my goals. 




November Goals

Relationships/Connect/Be the Light

Y  Go to dinner with girlfriends.

Y  Have a lunch date with Brian.

Y  Have a Brian and Lindsay Day of Fun Day Date!

N  Go to lunch with an old coworker. – This time of year is way too busy for them, so we’ll have to try again in January!

                                                                                      

Personal/Health/Wellness/Fitness/Beauty

Y  Meditate, quiet time, and affirmations every day.

Y  Drink 64 oz. most days. 

Y  Close all rings on my Apple Watch 16 days.

Y  Visit with my therapist.

Y  Get my flu shot.

Y  Get my annual mammogram.  (Here’s your reminder, ladies!)

Y  Wash makeup brushes, take 2.

Y  Read 1 fiction book.

 

Family/Fun

Y  Attend my friend Jessica’s 40th birthday celebration.

Y  Celebrate Thanksgiving.

Y  Go to Fantasy in Lights with the whole fam.

Y  Have our annual North Pole breakfast.

Y  RELAX, ENJOY, and SAVOR Thanksgiving Break. – Yessss.  I spent the whole week with the family and relaxing, and I barely did any house stuff or blog work.  It was nice.

Y  Start watching Christmas movies. – So far we’ve watched Home Sweet Home Alone, Home Alone 2, Christmas Chronicals 1 and 2, Noelle, LoveHard, and Elf!

Y  Get a Peppermint Mocha from Starbucks.

Y  Start our new Christmas puzzle.

Y  Have our first fire in the fire place.

Y  Record a video every single day of the month and upload to my One Second a Day app.

 

Home/Organization/Planning

Y  Plan school fundraiser.

Y  Decorate the house for Christmas.

Y  Start my new “favorite things” Christmas tree in my office.

Y  Finish most (if not all) of the Christmas shopping.

Y  Start wrapping gifts.

N  List fall clothes on Poshmark.

N  Complete 1 thing on Master To-Do list.

 

Blog/Social Media

Y  Post 5 times most weeks.

Y  Share all holiday gift guides in early November.

Y  Share Christmas card sponsored post.

Y  Share some of our favorite things/gift ideas on Instagram stories.

Shop for families in need and turn in gifts to church.

Get my annual ultrasound (follow-up to mammogram).
