Five on Friday - December Goals

Today I’m recapping my November goals and listing my December goals.  As always, I’m using a Y for YES and N for NO to indicate whether or not I accomplished my goals. 

November Goals


Y  Go on a date with B once and for all. – we made it to a Georgia game alone together!

Y  Go to dinner with my girls. – this month we did a whole family gathering and we had so much fun! 

Y  Go to lunch with a friend. – yep, made it to lunch with one of my old coworkers.

Y  Go to a movie with Mom. – we saw Ticket to Paradise, and it was so cute!



Y  Meditate, quiet time, and affirmations every day.

N  Drink 64 oz. water most days. – I totally dropped the ball on my water intake this month.

Y  Close all rings on my Apple Watch 17 days. – I closed mine 20 days!

Y  Visit with my therapist.

Y  Donate blood. – yep, and it’s already been used to save lives!

N  Get my yearly mammogram. – I rescheduled this for January because something else came up that was out of my control.  This time of year is just stupid busy anyway.

Y  Get my flu shot.

Y  Read 1 book. – I read two!



Y  Attend the Home & School Association Advisory Board meeting.

Y  Attend the all-school tailgate and football game.

Y  Go to the Georgia vs. Tennessee game!!

Y  Olivia have her minor surgery on her thyroid and eardrum.

Y  Jacob attend his first middle school dance.

Y  Finish prepping for the Reindeer Run at the school.

Y  Attend Olivia’s class field trip to the courthouse.

Y  Celebrate Thanksgiving!

Y  Enjoy a peppermint mocha from Starbucks! – Didn’t technically get one in November, but I got one yesterday (December 1), so we’re calling this a win.  ;o)

Y  Start watching Christmas movies!

Y  Watch the new The Santa Clause show on Disney+.

N  Make 2 new recipes. – Definitely didn’t do this!



Y  Prep for Thanksgiving.

Y  Decorate for Christmas.

Y  Start prepping for Christmas.

N  Clean out the garage.

N  Finish organizing recipes.

N  Finish listing clothes on Poshmark.

N  Redo 2021 One Second a Day video with Windows Video Editor.

N  Complete 1 task on Master To Do List.

Y  Post on the blog 4-5 times per week.

Y  Share holiday gift guides on the blog.

Y  Share at least 3 Reels on Instagram. – I shared five!

Y  Pitch to at least 1 brand for a holiday collaboration.

Now for the December goals… the list is SO LONG this month because of our trip to NYC!!  So many bucket list items on the list for the kids!

Take Olivia to her second follow-up appointment at the ENT.

Set up and attend the Reindeer Run fundraiser at the kids’ school!
