Five on Friday - October Goals

Today I’m recapping my September goals and listing my October goals.  As always, I’m using a Y for YES and N for NO to indicate whether or not I accomplished my goals.

September Goals

Relationships

N  Go on a date with B.

Y  Go to dinner with my girls.

Y  Go to lunch with a friend.

Personal/Health/Wellness/Fitness/Beauty

Y  Meditate, quiet time, and affirmations every day.

N  Drink 90 oz. water most days. – 90 oz. is just too much to do daily when I’m in the car driving the kids all over creation!  Haha.

Y  Close all rings on my Apple Watch 22 days.

Y  Make a loose weekly workout schedule (cardio, strength, yoga, etc.).

Y  Find a good workout for abs that’s easy on the lower back.

Y  Wear 30 different outfits in an effort to get out of my clothing rut.

Y  Go for my annual skin check at the dermatologist.

Y  Visit with my therapist.

X  Donate blood. – Well, I tried, but when I got there, they told me my iron was too low.

Family/Fun

Y  Make 3 new recipes. – Dump & Bake Alfredo, Lasagna Soup, Oreo Cake

Y  Visit Spirit Halloween.

Y  Buy Halloween costumes.

Y  Start buying stuff for Halloween dinner.

N  Get a PSL and try a pumpkin cream cold brew. – Got a PSL, but not a cold brew!

Y  Attend Home and School Advisory Board meeting.

Y  Go to the Georgia vs. Oregon Chick-Fil-A kickoff football game in Atlanta!!

Y  Attend at least one high school football game.

X  Plan and host the 3rd grade tailgate at the kids’ school for the football game. – well, we planned it, but it had to be postponed until November because of the weather.

Y  Watch Jacob start golf!

Y  Bask in the glow of all of my fall decorations.  ;o)

Home/Organization/Planning

Y  Buy supplies to organize recipes.

Y  Start recipe organization project – organize at least 20 recipes. – I organized WAY more than 20!  I have been on fire with this project and I’m getting close to being done!

Y  Make a list of all of our favorite main dishes.

N  Finish listing clothes on Poshmark. – I got so many listed, but I’m still not quite done.

N  Complete 1 task on Master To Do List.

Blog/Social Media

Y  Start posting 4 times per week again.

Y  Post more variety on Instagram stories. – I shared more favorite things as well as more fall content this month.  Still want to work on sharing more often, especially when I’m working on projects.  I get so focused on what I’m doing that I don’t think about Instagram.  Haha.

Y  Share 1 reader request blog post. – I shared not just one, but THREE, reader requests!  Major win for this one!

  1. Go girl girl. And look at that doughnut table. Enjoy the weekend.

  2. I tried a PSL but I subbed one of the pumpkin pumps for a white mocha pump. It was pretty good!

  3. The PSL was my gateway drink into drinking coffee, but now it's too sweet for me. So now I order it with just half the amount of pumpkin spice syrup and get blonde roast--it's the best!

  4. Wow! Great job on your reading! I've been trying to read the same book since August. Oy.
