Five on Friday - June Goals

Today I’m recapping my May goals and listing my June goals.  As always, I’m using a Y for YES and N for NO to indicate whether or not I accomplished my goals. 



May Goals

Relationships

Y  Go on a date with Brian.

Y  Go on a triple date with my parents and aunt and uncle.

Y  Go to dinner/do something fun with my girls.

Y  Have a poker night with friends.

N  Go to lunch with a friend.

 

Personal/Health/Wellness/Fitness/Beauty

N  Meditate, quiet time, and affirmations every day. – I missed one this month… boooo.

Y  Drink 64 oz. water most days. 

Y  Close all rings on my Apple Watch 26 days. – I closed them all exactly 26 times.

Y  Aim to average 10,000/steps per day. – I averaged 10,306 steps per day!

Y  Visit with my therapist.

Y  Donate blood.

N  Practice piano several times per week. – Don’t know why I put this on here for May because there was zero time.  Haha.

Y  Spend more time journaling. – I did make time for this, though.

N  Create a perfume roller from oils.

Y  Read 1 book. – I read three!

 

Family/Fun

Y  Help out with Teacher Appreciation Week at the kids’ school.

Y  Watch Olivia sing in her voice recital.

Y  Celebrate Mother’s Day.

Y  Watch Olivia perform in her dance recital.

Y  Attend Olivia’s fourth quarter awards ceremony.

Y  Attend Olivia’s end-of-the-year class party.

Y  Celebrate the kids’ last day of school!

Y  See Ed Sheeran in Atlanta!!!!

 

Home/Organization/Planning

Y  Shop for gifts for all of the kids’ teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week.

Y  Prep for Mother’s Day.

Y  Plan Olivia’s end-of-the-year class party.

Y  Start planning and packing for our beach trip.

Y  Clean out kids’ school papers and get everything put away in their keepsake boxes.

Y  Get the bulletin board in our command center ready for summer.

N  Clean out closet under stairs.

N  Clean out Jacob’s whole bedroom.

N  Clean out kids’ bathroom.

N  List all spring/summer clothes on Poshmark.

N  Complete 1 task on Master To Do List.

Y  Continue filling in Ode to 2023 blog post as the year progresses.

Be very intentional with my time with the kids.

Spend lots of time playing piano with Jacob.

Spend lots of time just “being” with Olivia as quality time is one of her love languages.

Go to a movie with my Momma.

Meditate, quiet time, and affirmations every day.

Drink 64 oz. water most days.

Aim to average 10,000/steps per day.

Go to my orthodontist checkup.

Go for my annual well checkup with my new general practitioner.

Continue journaling.

  1. You and your mom look like twins, lol. I started doing a house clean out inspired by you. I gave myself a week for my laundry room and still haven't gotten through it - I don't know how I'll get through any bigger rooms!
